Brantome Far Ouest

We spent one night at the campsite. The setting is very nice and the welcome is excellent. See you soon.

Friendly welcome, spacious pitch, adequate toilets. No grey-water dump; you have to go to Brantôme.

Deserves six stars. The owners and guests are very nice. Excellent welcome. Obviously, we will come back! Thank you for this wonderful time. Great atmosphere; we had lots of fun, especially at the pool. Proper taps, including in the showers—no need to spend ten minutes rinsing under a thin trickle of water. Activities for children: go-karts, swing, and the pleasure of seeing the rabbits. Very clean sanitary facilities.

Welcome, services, cleanliness, price… everything is perfect.

It is a shame that we could not reach the campsite. You have to pass under a bridge with a maximum height of 3 metres! I did not understand whether there was another route.

A lovely alternative stop to the two areas in Brantôme, which quickly become overcrowded. For €18 per night for a motorhome and two people, you get a nice pitch, a hot shower, electricity and a water refill. Friendly welcome and homemade pizzas, except on Fridays. An equestrian centre is next door.

New owners from Normandy (2023); the campsite is called Far Ouest. A large field allows you to set up quickly and enjoy the nearby sanitary facilities. A covered shelter with a table provides protection. Pitches with electricity are planned. The atmosphere is very friendly, with a few themed evenings. Excellent stay between Brantôme and Saint-Jean-de-Côle.

A very warm welcome, and indeed good pizzas. The pitches are large and well delineated. It is true that three showers are a little inadequate, but they have proper taps rather than push buttons, which is pleasant!

Wonderful family campsite with a very warm welcome from the managers. Swimming pool available, children's games, and the owner makes very good homemade pizzas. By bicycle, allow 10 minutes downhill to Brantôme and 30 minutes back up; bring an electric bike. €37 for one night for a motorhome, two adults and two children with electricity.

Quiet campsite and friendly welcome. Sanitary facilities adequate; it is a shame there are only three showers, and when you encounter people who take a long time without thinking of others, it is a little insufficient. Otherwise, you can cycle to Brantôme via a small road; it is a very pretty town. Very reasonable price.

If you love nature and human values, this is the place for you. Simplicity and friendliness. Note the excellent homemade pizzas. We will certainly come back.
