Museum parking, daytime only

April 2026: good place without facilities. Parking fee increased to €7.50. Wonderfully quiet.

Quiet, very well-maintained parking area, perfect for one night. Nothing prohibits it; camping is prohibited, though some people do not understand the difference.

Daytime parking only. We asked the museum staff whether we could sleep there. The answer was: “No, but since the parking lot does not belong to the museum, it is not the museum’s responsibility to clear the parking lot in the evening.” Therefore, staying overnight may result in a fine if checked.

Large car park for the war museum. Slight slope and not sure whether anything over 7m would fit as it’s a conventional size car park. Toilets in museum when it’s open.

Parking for the Bastogne War Museum. In addition to the admission fee, parking costs €5. Motorhomes are allowed to stay overnight. No services, but free Wi-Fi near the museum building. Very quiet place. On entering, take a ticket and pay when leaving the museum at a machine.

Ample parking space for the museum, however €5 is expensive in addition to entrance fee.

I confirm that Liliana is right. There are barriers, and it costs €5. We are no longer welcome at the Bastogne War Museum.

No overnight parking! €5 for daytime parking while visiting the museum.

Museum parking area. Very quiet and pleasant, with a beautiful view of the surrounding hills. A 20–25-minute walk from the city, or a few minutes by bike. During museum opening hours, parking costs €5, currently paid at the museum checkout. Access barriers are being installed, perhaps with payment directly at the barrier.

Excellent for visiting the museum and memorial. Attention! From mid-July there will be a barrier with payment required.

Note: this parking area will become paid from mid-July 2022!
