A large grass car park overlooking the River Thames, with plenty of space for motorhomes and no height barriers. National Trust members park free; otherwise the original information states 7£ for 4h. There is a café with toilets and WiFi, but no overnight stays are allowed, and the barrier closes at sunset, with times varying by season.

Brilliant stopover for daytime. Loads of space for motorhomes and no height barriers. National Trust so members free. Closing time varies during the year (sunset) no overnight stays. Cafe and toilets. Memorials across the road are truly fascinating, one to JFK, the other for Habeas Corpus, and giant willow sculptures in the field.
Tried to visit at 6:30 p.m., but the automatic barrier would not open, so arrive early. It looked like a great place, though.
