A spacious, flat campsite and picnic area beside the Calore river, with direct river access and clean toilets. The rate is 15 euros per night, plus 5 euros for electricity. It is generally quiet during the week but can be busy and noisy on weekends, with picnic visitors.

We stayed two nights with a van, €15 plus €5 for the electrical hookup. Very beautiful and peaceful place, with direct access to the river. The campsite is a bit unusual: you may find goats grazing and the owner's large dogs roaming around the camping area. There is a picnic area with tables and barbecues, but it is not included in the price. Bathroom cleanliness was not the best and showers cost €2.
Well-maintained place. The owner is helpful and welcoming. We spent two nights (Sunday and Monday); it is very busy on weekends but quieter during the week. Nearby there is direct access to the river, where you can refresh yourself. It was 35°C during the day, but very pleasant at night. Clean sanitary facilities. The only criticism is the €2 charge for hot showers lasting 2 minutes, with no option for a cold shower.
Very nice, small, peaceful campsite! You are welcomed very warmly—the gentleman speaks only Italian, so thanks to our translators if you read this :) €15 per night for 2 people with a dog and roof tent, showers extra at €2 for 2 minutes. The stream with swimming access is an absolute highlight! Two livestock guardian dogs, which are generally peaceful, and goats are also around. Excellent!
We stopped for 3 nights, peacefully and recuperatively. There is some daytime activity because the campsite reserves pitches for people who want to have a picnic. The pitch cost €15, including all services except electricity, which was €5 extra. A visit to the village of Castelcivici lets you experience this little corner of paradise.
Our schedule only allowed for a 1 night stay Sep 25th, but would have loved to stay longer ! The campground is set between rows of olive trees, which are kind host explained are still harvested later in the fall. At the end of the campground is the warm waters of the river. The campground is in a rural area away from major towns, putting it in a quiet and natural setting. Highly recommended !
Very beautiful site. Very nice owner—speaks only Italian. Communication via Google Translate is possible. Very clean showers and toilets. A dog sometimes roams freely around the grounds, but is said to be friendly toward other dogs. Definitely recommended.
I think this place has two faces. If, like me, you are here off-season from Friday into the week, it is a wonderfully peaceful paradise. According to the owner, from Saturday on weekends there is a huge party. But I was the only guest at the beginning of September. Extremely pleasant, and the owners are very friendly. There is electricity, showers, a small bar, lots of shade and free Wi-Fi. Five stars from me.
Lovely place. We will return. Lots of shade and the possibility of barbecuing. Very good sanitary facilities and, finally, real stainless-steel sinks for washing dishes. On-site bar with excellent croissants in the morning. Extremely kind and genuine staff, like all people from Cilento. The Calore River is available for swimming. It rises at Corleto and the water is clear. Fantastic.
Many reviews describe this place as quiet! It is one huge party hell! Loud music and lots of people having picnics on weekends. Quite a noisy place.
Via a bumpy and occasionally steep path you reach the campsite, run by a kind man. There are many pitches with electricity beneath neat rows of olive trees, and small barbecues everywhere. Sanitary facilities are basic but clean, and this was the only place where I found toilet paper and soap. Showers cost €2 for a few minutes. Camper for 2 people without electricity: €15. Some pitches have a beautiful view of the mountain village opposite, which catches the evening sun. Gorgeous. Next to the campsite is a lovely river with a wide gravel beach, wonderful for cooling off. A few chickens and goats roam the grounds. We received a few fresh eggs. Ignore the clutter around the house; otherwise it is a picture-perfect place!
Simple and basic facility, apparently family-run. Almost Spartan, but with some services: bathrooms, showers, sinks, water filling and emptying, and a small bar. Well-shaded pitches. Access via a fairly wide, gently sloping road. From the campsite you can reach the river, with plenty of space and clean water. Dogs very welcome. Cost €15 per night, including filling and emptying.
A good campsite. The owner is kind; you can eat pizza and croissants at the bar. The bathrooms are clean and there is plenty of shade. Fair prices.
A great place. We were the only ones and enjoyed the silence. The owner lets the goats and geese out onto the meadows at 5 p.m. For our daughter it was a dream. Washrooms clean but close to nature. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is exactly right. I can only recommend the place!
