1 Süderdeich, 25718, Friedrichskoog
Been here?
Camping Swienskopp is a very simple and inexpensive campsite in an excellent location beside the dike. The pitches are spacious, with water and electricity available, and supply and disposal facilities are present. The sanitary facilities are extremely old and recently described as disgraceful, although some earlier stays found them clean. The dike is a 2-minute walk away, and Friedrichskoog Spitze is about 10 minutes on foot.

Run-down and not recommended. The sanitary facilities are a disgrace.Translating
The time travel is accurate, but for €14 for a family with a van there is absolutely nothing to complain about. You can also regard it as an experience of reliving the 1970s in terms of showers.Translating
Top location directly by the dyke. The campsite and restaurant are like a journey back to the 1970s. The owner is friendly in a typically Frisian way. Sanitary facilities are basically unusable because they are extremely old and run-down. Dump station available, water at the pitch. Electricity is charged according to consumption. If you see it as a pitch for self-sufficient motorhomes, it is a top spot, and €38 for 2 nights for 2 people including electricity and tourist tax is reasonable.Translating
Showing its age; value for money is better elsewhere.Translating
The place is nice. Well-maintained meadow with plenty of space. The site manager is very nice. Sanitary facilities are so-so: very old and not very well maintained, but clean. I am not going to live there. We would come again.Translating
Not for snobbish five-star campers, as it is quite run-down. But you arrive, register, park, and walk 15 minutes to the Wadden Sea. One night for two people in a camper for €14: excellent!Translating
We stayed for 2 nights with 4 people (2 adults, 2 children, dog and motorhome) at this great site. Everything is a little dated, but it has character and everything was clean. The price including electricity, tourist tax, shower (€1 for 6 minutes), etc. was unbeatable at €43.58! To the children's surprise, there was even a small playground, and the meadows were perfect for playing too.Translating
You really experience a little journey back in time here. Great location and very basic, but truly recommended. We would come again!Translating
Anyone wanting to be transported back to the early 1970s will find this place suitable. However, it has no charm and is rather run-down. We had already parked, but after seeing the sanitary facilities we preferred to drive on. No longer up to modern standards.Translating
An authentic campsite where time seems to have stood still. Everything clean and perfect—we paid €18.80 for one night for a motorhome, 2 people, a dog and electricity. The fantastic thing is the operator: simply a character. People like that are very, very rare today. We felt completely at home. Back to the rules!Translating
For fans of 1970s and 1980s retro, this original site from that era is good. Beautiful location by the dyke, pitches are good and spacious with electricity. Showers clean and warm; the rest of the sanitary facilities are either broken or dirty. Snack restaurant inexpensive and okay. The owner is a northern German original, somewhat gruff, but do not be put off.Translating
