Busy poolside site, weekday noise

We arrived here on the first evening of the summer holidays. It is perfect for a stopover; the A1 motorway is not far away. A fairly level parking area. Bins are available. There is a disposal station, but we did not look at it more closely. We arrived on Friday evening and had a wonderfully quiet night; we were able to sleep until 10 a.m. without any problems. The place is blocked by large permanent motorhomes, caravans and other trailers. Now they have started setting off firecrackers in April—seriously?! On the other side there is a football field with shouting children. We drove on.✦Translating

School, sports field and daycare centre directly next door. During the week the noise is quite high; at weekends it might be a good motorhome stop. The pitch is level and otherwise quiet regarding road noise.✦Translating

Nice place. quiet at night and plenty of place. It’s right next to a school and a well mentioned swimming pool. So you can expect some pearls to park here early in the morning to go for a swim or drop off their kids. We could go to the toilets (also shower) at the swimming pool for free.

A normal, small swimming-pool car park, with no spaces reserved for motorhomes. Only car-sized spaces are possible, and it is also full when the swimming pool is open. The picture with the red motorhome bus is misleading; it is not here!✦Translating

The service point is not self-service. The tokens probably have to be obtained from the swimming-pool ticket office, which was closed when we arrived at 7 p.m.; paying in cash would be so much simpler. Moreover, access is not very convenient and may be complicated for long vehicles, blocking access to the car park while the services are being used. The car park looks quiet.✦Translating

The place is perfect if, after a hike to Mordkuhlenberg, you want to cool off in the outdoor pool (until 8 p.m.). Since it was already late afternoon, only a few cars were still here. The Old Brewery, where you can eat excellently, is within easy walking distance. We spent another quiet night here.✦Translating

Quiet night. The outdoor pool was closed today, and the place was completely empty, so it was also ideal for large vehicles. It will certainly look different during the pool season.
