Been here?
Three pitches for self-sufficient vehicles are offered on a lawn beside the carriage museum, in a quiet rural setting. There is no electricity or supply and disposal, and guests should leave the space clean. The site suits walking and cycling, with hiking trails in the Dammer Berge recreation area and Dümmer about 12 km away. The ground is slightly sloping and can become soft in rain; a manure-like smell may occur.

Good enough for a quiet night. There was quite a strong smell—perhaps a fertilized field or something?
We stayed here again and had a quiet night on our way back. Even though the air was slightly affected by the fertilized field, it is a pleasant place for us. The ground is slightly sloped and soft when it rains; nevertheless, we were able to level our somewhat larger motorhome with leveling jacks.
Great place and a beautiful, rustic museum! You have to see it. The owner is a one-of-a-kind character, something you do not often find anymore! Wonderful! You park on grass, and leveling wedges may be useful in places. Booking in advance is not absolutely necessary. If there is space, there is space. Payment in cash through the mailbox. Up to four campers possible.
Contacting them by email upon arriving at night went smoothly. Quick response: mailbox beside the door (see photo), including envelopes for the parking fee. Peaceful night and a wonderful sunrise over the fields. Thank you.
Enjoying the peace—rarely has a description matched a place so well. It was wonderful. The site is very well maintained and clearly signposted on the approach.
