Friendly welcome, beautiful location on the Main. The sanitary container was always clean, but it is very cramped and separated from the sinks only by a shower curtain. The city centre and supermarket are within walking distance.✦Translating

Pleasant village within walking distance, large shopping centre reachable by bicycle. The road across the river can be heard, but is certainly not disturbing; the passing boats are enjoyable and cause no nuisance. We are here for the second time and it is sensational again! We arrived spontaneously and got a waterside pitch for two nights—simply wonderful, with such peace and quiet and the boats. The little town of Lohr is worth a visit. The sanitary facilities are very clean; a small deduction because there is only one key per pitch.✦Translating

Definitely not a place to relax. The road opposite is very busy and the noise echoes loudly across the water. Sanitary container and rather cramped pitches, as others have already described; in that situation it hardly matters whether the site manager is friendly. I will not return.✦Translating

Very nice, quiet campsite with very clean sanitary facilities. We spent one night there, four people with a motorhome, for €37. Many permanent campers, who were very friendly even though we do not speak German. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep before or after visiting the city, do not hesitate.✦Translating

We found a pitch at short notice for two nights on our journey home from the north. Arriving at 9 p.m. was no problem; since I did not know whether our power cable would reach, one had been laid out for us when we arrived. The town and surrounding area were ideal for relaxing once more before the end of our holiday. The road could not be heard, by the way.✦Translating
