12 Jahnstraße, 97816, Lohr am Main
Been here?
This simple campsite sits directly on the Main beside its own bay, with direct water access and nearby swimming. The sanitary facilities are clean but cramped, and the container facilities are basic; hot showers, toilets and a washing area are provided. The opposite road is clearly audible, while the town centre and supermarket are within walking distance. A recent rate was 24 euros per night for a 6-metre motorhome and two adults without electricity.

Friendly welcome, beautiful location on the Main. The sanitary container was always clean, but it is very cramped and separated from the sinks only by a shower curtain. The city centre and supermarket are within walking distance.Translating
Excellent campsite with swimming in the Main and several shady pitches. The sanitary facilities in the main building are fine; those at the campsite itself are somewhat primitive. Pleasant village within walking distance, large shopping centre reachable by bicycle. The road across the river can be heard, but is certainly not disturbing; the passing boats are enjoyable and cause no nuisance. Price per night for a riverside pitch, two people with a dog, without electricity: €29.50.Translating
Very nice site on the banks of the Main with swimming opportunities. Very friendly welcome and a shady spot under the elderberry tree—a blessing at 37 degrees! The sanitary facilities in the container are basic but exceptionally clean. Washing machine and dryer in the main building. Short walk to the old town. Friendly permanent campers nearby. Absolutely recommended!Translating
We are here for the second time and it is sensational again! We arrived spontaneously and got a waterside pitch for two nights—simply wonderful, with such peace and quiet and the boats. The little town of Lohr is worth a visit. The sanitary facilities are very clean; a small deduction because there is only one key per pitch.Translating
Pretty town and nice little campsite at a reasonable price. We arrived spontaneously and got the last waterside pitch, between permanent pitches. It did not matter—the view made up for it, and the neighbours were away during the week. Sanitary facilities are basic but spotlessly clean. Fine for a few days. Absolute recommendation: pizza from the unassuming Blues Corner opposite! Incredibly delicious!Translating
Definitely not a place to relax. The road opposite is very busy and the noise echoes loudly across the water. Sanitary container and rather cramped pitches, as others have already described; in that situation it hardly matters whether the site manager is friendly. I will not return.Translating
Club-run campsite with moderate prices. Friendly welcome from the pleasant site manager. Absolutely quiet at night. Sanitary facilities are perfectly adequate and always very clean.Translating
Beautifully located, friendly staff. The cost for one 6-metre motorhome with two adults is €24 per night without electricity. The prices shown above are incorrect. Wi-Fi only works around reception; 30 metres away, it already stops working.Translating
Great campsite for a single overnight stay if you want to visit the city. Friendly welcome. There is otherwise nothing to do at the campsite. You receive a key, with no deposit, for the sanitary facilities, rubbish and waste water.Translating
Very nice, quiet campsite with very clean sanitary facilities. We spent one night there, four people with a motorhome, for €37. Many permanent campers, who were very friendly even though we do not speak German. If you are looking for somewhere to sleep before or after visiting the city, do not hesitate.Translating
We found a pitch at short notice for two nights on our journey home from the north. Arriving at 9 p.m. was no problem; since I did not know whether our power cable would reach, one had been laid out for us when we arrived. The town and surrounding area were ideal for relaxing once more before the end of our holiday. The road could not be heard, by the way.Translating
