Huge parking area. We spent the night here with five other vehicles, and everyone had enough space for privacy. Trees also provide screening all around. We will use this spot again on our next visit to the island.✦Translating

It is a huge gravel area that is empty outside the Störtebeker Festival season, which runs roughly from late June to mid-September. The road is not very noisy. Great spot, campervans welcome for one night (camping with tents prohibited). BUT - if there is a show on the current evening as part of the Stoertebecke Festspiele, the place is used as a regular car park and is totally crowded. So check the festival programme :)✦Translating

Large, quiet parking area with few visitors—we were there in early May. It is normally designated for the festival from the end of June onward. Customs patrols the area; take your rubbish with you!✦Translating

Anyone wanting to attend Störtebeker and spend the night here should arrive at least two hours beforehand. The attendants let us drive right up to the transmission tower. There are plenty of level parking spaces there. There are also two clean portable toilets. Completely fine for one night. We did not find the road noise disturbing.✦Translating
