The official parking area currently has signs prohibiting motorhomes. A free gravel area beside the beach-volleyball court has no services, and overnight stays have been possible there. The Ammersee is about 900 m or a 10-minute walk away, with an Edeka nearby. Parts of the official parking area have height limits of 2.2 metres.

Gravel area near the beach volleyball court, next to the official parking lot. Free and without services. We slept well there. Perfect for one night and visiting Lake Ammersee. An Edeka supermarket was just around the corner. The lake is about 10 minutes away, 900 meters.
Parking space with max 2.2 meters. Next to temp immigrant housing and a sports arena. Instead I parked across on gravel parking next to some trucks with my larger camper. Toilets in sportcenter. Bike path to lake. OK for a night.
Pleasant, clean gravel area between the sports hall and school grounds. Part of the parking lot has a height restriction. Lake Ammersee is about a 10-minute walk away. You can stay there for free, and we parked there comfortably during the day. Towards evening, a drunk man kept coming by, begging for beer and refusing to leave us alone. We drove elsewhere.
Small park next to school and sports field. Convenient for food shop and cafes. Further uphill is the start of cycle track with picnic bench and view of Lake Ammersee. Be aware of early morning school run cars and buses.
Perfect for one night. Quiet and clean, and a 10-minute walk to Lake Ammersee for swimming.
