4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A scenic off-road spot on a former quarry overlooks the sea and Lake Santa Luce. Recent reports warn of nighttime vehicle and pedestrian activity, with some people apparently telling visitors to leave. The washed-out, rocky dirt road has deep potholes and is best suited to 4x4 vehicles or high-clearance vans; lower areas may suit vehicles over 2,30. Other attractive spots lie farther down the valley.

Area to avoid! Nighttime activity involving lights and cars. People walking around the vehicle! I will never return to that area.
Forget it. Strange people circulate in the area, and it is clear they do not want people stopping here. A hunter stopped and told us to leave immediately; he had a knife in his hand. This review concerns the area and therefore also applies to the other spot indicated further down.
Very good spot beside a path that is passable with a van but not with a motorhome. We went higher up and found a small, completely flat area to the side. We spent a very quiet night without meeting anyone. Very good spot for one night.
Beautiful spot with some shade and a sea view. We saw nobody for an entire day. The path is quite washed out and has some deeper potholes. For cars or vans over 2.30 m, there are some places in the lower areas.
Thanks for the spot. A 4x4 is needed; the rocky road has washed-out potholes. I am 2.30 m high and hit a lot of trees with the rooftop tent. 29/07/25
