A lovely quiet site with hard standing pitches. 4 toilets, 2 spacious showers in the amenities block, but is a short walk from site. £25 for 2, in a 7m campervan.
Beautiful, peaceful campsite with two separate toilets and two bathrooms including toilets. They are private rooms, so there is no row of toilets where you see the neighbor’s shoes and hear everything. Washing dishes can also be done inside. Good walking opportunities, with paths through meadows and forest. A walking and cycling path runs between the campsite and the facilities. Wonderful cycling and red kites to admire. We also saw deer. There is a nice café in the village below for lunch.
Warm welcome from the owner despite our late arrival. Level pitches, clean sanitary facilities and a very reasonable price.
Lovely bijou site but all the better for it. Having to cross a public right of way to get to the toilets and showers at night was a little disconcerting for my wife - understandably so in fairness.
Beautiful well kept, quiet site (almost too quiet when you've got kids, feel like I'm slightly worried they'll disturb others but everyone was friendly!) Great access to fab cyclepath which is old railway and you actually cross this to get to toilet/shower block which is part of old farm building but very clean unisex lovely warm showers, access to hair dryer if required. 20min to Beamish.
