A quiet stopping place beside a public natural park, suitable for an overnight stay and close to toilets. The approach is easy by asphalt, despite GPS sometimes directing vehicles onto a field road. Space is now limited to about 4/5 cars because barriers prevent parking along the woodland edge. The park offers walking, children’s play areas and a forest adventure park, while mornings are busier than nights.

Nice place for a stop or overnight stay, toilet nearby and easy access. GPS may tell you to take a dirt road (2); continue on and access is via an asphalt road.
Beautiful place to spend the night, absolutely peaceful, with an adventure park in the forest as a bonus.
Since this first being listed .. you cannot park along side the edge of the woods. They have erected barriers now. There is space now for 4/5 cars. You could try the new overflow car park 200m further on ..but it’s just a long lane where cars park just off the lane. We managed to get a space at the entrance. But were lucky. People park her and go for long walks.
Nice place, with level spaces, shade, and rubbish bins. Some activity during the day: walkers, the passing train (though you can park farther away), and construction equipment from the neighboring company. Very quiet night. The forest is lovely, with lots of children's games.
