Day parking for the Dragons Back hike in the Black Mountains, with easy access to the hiking routes. Parking costs £5 all day, with QR-code payment; you can also text your registration for a welfare check. A sheltered field may be available if you buy drinks or food at the pub, but it is uneven, with level space for 3 or 4 small vans.

Super friendly in the pub, £5 all day for parking. they also have a small field you might be able to park up in that is sheltered from the road, they let m spark in the field if I bought a few drinks or ate in the pub. Field is a bit uneven but space for 3 or 4 small vans at the top which is level. Definitely on my favourites list.
We parked here when doing the Dragons back hike in the black mountains, we arrived around lunchtime on a Wednesday. Easy to access the hiking routes, QR code to pay, there is also a suggestion to text your reg number to them and they will do a welfare check on you if not returned. We would definitely use them again.
