6 Rue du Prieuré, 29180, Locronan
Been here?
This CAMPING-CAR PARK area sits at the entrance of scenic Locronan village with tourist attractions within 500m. Electricity, water, and waste disposal services are available. The terrain is steep and spaces are unmarked, leading to chaotic haphazard parking. Expect significant crowding, especially on peak days—arrive early. €5 gives lifetime network access.

A basic parking area with no pretensions. Excellent location, public toilets nearby, water and waste disposal, and electricity. Good.
Zero. The website says there are six spaces, but after entering there was no room. People park anywhere, and you are charged €6 just to drive around the area. Rip-off.
Very busy area. It may show that spaces are available, but in practice they are occupied by local residents. Services are working. Very good location. If visiting during the day, it is enough to park in the lot opposite.
It supposedly has 50 spaces—supposedly, because people occupy up to three spaces without thinking of anyone but themselves. Arrive early; otherwise, even if it says spaces are available, there is no room thanks to those who do not think of others and want everything for themselves. Shameful, with their awning fully open, tables, chairs, carts and bicycles, while the rest of us have to fend for ourselves. What a pity.
Very crowded with haphazard parking on a sloping site . Very convenient for the village but that’s the high point .
The location is good, and the facilities for campers are good. The layout is very chaotic because the same campers claim larger spaces for themselves. There is a sign with a clear layout! The ground is not level, and you need leveling blocks. Fine place for visiting the village.
Parking near the village. Undelimited spaces—where are the 50 spaces? Poorly maintained, with a damaged road. 4G is fine. Emptying and filling facilities are not very practical. New developments.
A perfectly adequate area at the entrance to the magnificent village of Locronan. I do not understand what more people want.
Uneven, unmarked spaces, anarchy reigns, and access to the wastewater disposal point is not very good.
Very well located right next to the village entrance. Everything needed for hookups, and shade for some spaces, but since nothing is marked out, users park somewhat randomly and badly. What a shame!
The area deserves credit for existing and is two steps from the village, but it is completely unmarked and chaotic, and very, very steep. The disposal area is inconvenient, and the entrance and exit are extremely crappy.
All services are available at the foot of the town, which is well worth visiting. No problem leveling a 7-metre motorhome with blocks.
It is true that it could be better arranged. It is somewhat chaotic because the pitches are not marked, but it has everything and everything works. The location is unbeatable for visiting the village, as it is right at the beginning of the main street.
A decent place, and for once not just a patch of asphalt. There are a few large trees for shade. The public toilet is not clean, but you do not need it anyway, right? You are right next to the village—great!
Perfectly located just outside this beautiful village. I cannot understand the previous reviews. Maybe the toilets are not the best, but use your own. Full services and electricity for everyone. Would come back.
I completely disagree with the previous reviews! Nothing to complain about.
The slope is almost impossible to overcome with leveling blocks in most spaces. The toilets smell of urine and have an unacceptable number of flies. Some spaces are unusable because of poor maintenance and overgrown vegetation, and the ground is muddy. I decided to stop despite the reviews, thinking it could not be that bad, but I was wrong. I would not stop here again. The village is beautiful, though.
The pitches are okay. There is electricity everywhere. However, the sanitary facilities are clearly in need of renovation.
Avoid! Concrete, sloping, and a motorhome factory. We obviously did not stay. However, there is a small free area provided by the municipality of Plonévez-Porzay a few kilometres away.
Very steep area, so leveling blocks are essential. Very poorly maintained, with tall grass everywhere. A little maintenance using the money collected by Camping-Car Park would be welcome.
I cannot agree with the critical reviews. The site has everything, is fine, and is located at the entrance to a wonderful town that is one of the most beautiful in France. On Sunday morning we even had fresh baguette from the bakery. We will return.
What more can be said than in the previous comments! Avoid in rainy weather because it becomes very muddy and the green areas are poorly maintained. The only positive point is the immediate proximity of the village for sightseeing. As a Camping-Car Park member for several years, I find this kind of parking area unacceptable. I will never return! I forgot to mention: no Wi-Fi and very poor 4G/5G reception.
Very well located, but poorly maintained and likely to be muddy in rainy weather. Otherwise clean and peaceful.
The stars are for the proximity to the attractive village with beautiful houses, restaurants, churches and gardens, and for the clean toilets, although they are probably mainly intended for bus tourists. Beyond the first paved row, the ground is very uneven; now, in the rain, it is completely muddy and no leveling block holds. So €14 is not appropriate, but that is how CarPark operates, unfortunately.
Very beautiful, peaceful location close to this lovely village. We spent the night listening to birdsong. Superb.
Parking right at the entrance to the village—you cannot get closer. Ideal for visiting, which is truly worthwhile, with many shops and restaurants. Very clean parking with an electronic terminal for each space; water and electricity are included in the price. Bring leveling blocks. I think the price is perfectly reasonable.
Hello, very good for visiting Locronan, but it is somewhat unacceptable to pay €14 for an unmaintained site with holes, bumps, ruts and no decent spaces. A little maintenance would not be a luxury.
Ideal area for visiting Locronan and going to Alain Cadiou's gallery.
Excellent proximity to the village for visiting, but it is true that the spaces are not level and in winter it becomes a bit of a mud pit.
Good place directly in front of the town. Several things are currently being renovated. The ground in the lower part of the site is somewhat muddy. We had no problem with the electricity; everything was fine.
Two degrees outside and constant power cuts since our arrival at 3 p.m. Unacceptable. We pay to stay at an area with electricity and do not have any.
Muddy area, electrical posts not fixed to the ground, and to top it all off, there is no electricity on the site. Appalling for such a tourist town. I gave one star because I cannot give less.
Ideally located for visiting Locronan. However, arrive early to get a hardstanding pitch. At the back, you wade through 15 cm of mud, especially when it has rained as it has in recent days.
Very good. A village of traditional crafts, with many shops selling regional products. The area has all the amenities, and the Wi-Fi for hotspot sharing works perfectly. We are satisfied with the services and will return.
An incredible pitch at the entrance to one of the most beautiful villages in France. The services work properly, and the nearby sanitary facilities are clean. There are no showers, and the ground can become waterlogged depending on the weather. So yes, it is not carpet underfoot, but frankly it is very decent, peaceful and fantastic for visiting and shopping in Locronan.
Very nice spot, quiet at this time of year. Toilets nearby and the small town of Locronan is a 2-minute walk away.
