A roadside holding loop with spectacular mountain views, especially at sunrise and sunset, and a hill partly sheltering it from the road. Overnight stays are possible, with room for up to 3 motorhomes. Traffic is generally light overnight but can be considerable during the day, and sheep may visit in the morning. The starting point of the Kjerag hike is a few minutes’ drive away.

Superb view. Since the large parking area farther down was a little too full, we ended up here. It is probably intended as a turning area. It was very windy when we were there, and there was quite a lot of traffic. Keep the place clean and take all rubbish with you.
We spent the night here. Up to three motorhomes can fit without problems. Pleasant view of the small reservoir. Virtually no traffic from early evening until the next morning.
Very nice place, as described above. Today is Monday and there is little traffic during the day or at night. The sheep did not even ring their bells in the morning :-)
Highly recommended—in the low season there are hardly any cars. Incredible view.
Small turning loop along a road. Little traffic and a beautiful view. We spent a quiet night here.
