Chemin de la Carosaccia, 20090, Ajaccio
Been here?
Well-maintained small campsite in the hills above Ajaccio. Large pitches with electricity cost €29–€41 per night. Facilities include hot showers, washing machine (€5 with soap), bread delivery, and a supermarket nearby. Motorhome access is noted as tricky or complicated. The site is calm and friendly, roughly 2km from Ajaccio center via a 15-minute walk and bus ride. Cash only; no dogs allowed.

Small, clean and welcoming campsite; 15 minutes on foot, then line 4 for 10 minutes to the center of Ajaccio.
Well-maintained small campsite, pitches very large by Corsican standards, many bins, clean sanitary facilities, washing machine including detergent for €5, bread service, large supermarket nearby, but not the sea—reachable by car, bus or bicycle.
Great campsite for cycling into town. Clean sanitary facilities.
Friendly welcome, everything clean and orderly. About 2 km from the city. We paid €29 for two people, a motorhome and electricity. The pitches are large and can be leveled with chocks.
Quiet campsite; fairly spacious pitches with electricity, shaded; bread delivery; quite far from Ajaccio center and the beach (walkable, but more pleasant by bicycle). Shops are 1 km away and all services are included and convenient for motorhomes. Friendly staff.
We were very satisfied: hot, adjustable showers and washing-up areas, easily accessible terraced pitches, also suitable for 7 m campers, and close to the city. Cyclists will find well-developed bike paths into the city center, a supermarket nearby for all necessities, and regional products in the market hall near the port. Cash payment is the only drawback.
To be avoided!!!!! Not friendly at all, and access is very complicated. We wanted to pay for the services, but they refused on the pretext that we were not staying overnight.
Nice campsite. Ideal for visiting Ajaccio. I paid €41 for a camper with one person, two nights and electricity. Facilities are okay. Cash only.
We spent a quiet night here. Clean campsite and hot water point. I recommend it; very friendly person.
Campsite a few minutes from the center of Ajaccio, excellent for visiting the area. Good value for money, hot showers and reasonably clean bathrooms. Laundry not the best, peaceful atmosphere. Overall a good campsite. Staff do not seem very friendly at first, but were pleasant in the end. Animals not allowed.
Campsite with difficult access for motorhomes. Pitch under eucalyptus trees, from which many insects fall. Clean sanitary facilities. Washing-up with cold water.
Very nice site. Some pitches are a little small. We also washed and dried laundry there. Excellent and reasonably priced. There are no restaurants or shops nearby. But at the reception you can at least buy the most important things. Baguettes are also available in the morning.
Services reserved exclusively for campsite guests. Unpleasant welcome.
Nice little site somewhat outside the city. You can reach the city center in a few minutes by bicycle, ideal for sightseeing. The sanitary facilities were very clean, and there is a place to dispose of wastewater and fill up with fresh water. €27 for one night for a VW van and two people.
Beautiful site on several levels, very clean and modern sanitary facilities, service point outside the site next to the entrance. Very friendly reception, bread service. WARNING: CASH ONLY. Great for a city trip to Ajaccio, about 15 minutes by bicycle to the market hall. Quiet in the evening, spacious pitches, and a rooster crows in the morning.
Excellent campsite with excellent facilities. Not very cozy and many “do not/must not” signs. Good base for Ajaccio, which disappointed us enormously.
Average campsite. Friendly staff.
Very clean campsite, welcoming reception! (dog)! Close to everything by bicycle!
As others have written: great site, calm, very well kept. Keep in mind that only cash payment is possible! No cards accepted.
€25 per night in August. However, not recommended for large motorhomes: the road to get there is quite steep and passing another vehicle will be impossible. Avoid parking near the sanitary blocks; the doors slam loudly and the guests are not very discreet. Otherwise, a reasonable price.
Great campsite, the pitches are level and the sanitary facilities are clean and modern. I recommend it; we will return. Paid €34 for a van, two adults and two children without electricity.
Very good value for money for this great site. The two of us paid €57 for a camper with electricity for two nights. The site offers spacious pitches separated by bushes. Clean and adequate sanitary facilities and showers. There are also washing-up stations, waste disposal and laundry facilities (machine €5). Very friendly operators.
Warning! Dogs and cats are not accepted.
Pleasant, clean, quiet campsite. €27 for two people, a van and electricity, 3 km from the beaches. I recommend it.
Lovely little campsite, shaded, quiet and clean.
Those who can read have an advantage… there is also a cold shower! The campsite is very clean and the staff are friendly. A somewhat steep road with a tight bend leads there. €27 for a camper, two people and electricity, right by the city—great.
No charm at this campsite. Difficult access. Minimal service. Shower water boiling hot. Unacceptable. Supermarket 1 km away. Close to the ring road. Pitches small in places. The only positive is that it allows you to visit Ajaccio without using your vehicle. Bus on the ring road 1 km away.
Shaded pitches, very quiet campsite, beach accessible on foot, steep access. Very clean sanitary facilities.
We stayed there for one night. Friendly welcome, clean sanitary facilities, also suitable for children. We were assigned a pitch, which was okay. Walking into the city for sightseeing is quite a challenge. Otherwise, there is nothing interesting nearby. Many people left in the morning, probably for the ferry, so it was very noisy. Many bins are distributed around the site—an advantage, though not attractive.
Difficult access, be careful. Close to Ajaccio and a supermarket. One drawback: the hot water was boiling, which I did not find pleasant, especially with an outside temperature of 30 degrees. Not much shade.
Difficult access; be careful when going up and down when passing other vehicles. Near the suburbs. Pitches are assigned, not freely chosen.
Good campsite close to the city center, perfect for sightseeing… good price.
Good welcome. Clean sanitary facilities. A little too expensive for a two-star campsite. Good pitch for a van.
Campsite above the city of Ajaccio. Access to the campsite is manageable; on arrival and departure you do not have to drive through the city. Morning bread service available and friendly welcome. Warm showers. An electric bicycle is recommended for visiting the city.
Simple campsite near Ajaccio. Large and small pitches are available. Points deducted because there were too few showers and toilets at the beginning of May, and because the route to Ajaccio is not very convenient. It is steep by bicycle. You have to walk 1 km to reach the bus. No restaurant nearby.
After a somewhat awkward arrival, a pleasant surprise. Clean, nice campsite, about 3 kilometers from the center of Ajaccio. In the morning they let us remain parked by the reception so we could leave calmly after returning from the city.
The campsite is well maintained. Sanitary facilities are somewhat limited. Supplies are rather poor, so you should bring everything you need. No restaurant or bar nearby. Ajaccio is easy to reach by bicycle. However, I found cycling through Paris less dangerous than cycling to Ajaccio. Pitch size is also suitable for a larger motorhome with trailer.
Lovely place to spend the night when arriving from the ferry. Well-maintained sanitary facilities. The access road is steep and narrow, but certainly manageable. I had a 7 m campervan including a bicycle rack.
Small, very clean campsite with clean sanitary facilities as well. I do not know if it is always like this, but it was quiet despite the crowds. Easy access by motorhome.
Really very good, with beautiful, well-separated pitches and, as a bonus, a wooden table. Very clean sanitary facilities. Very secure campsite and very friendly welcome. Ajaccio can be reached on foot via the small winding road. Cheques accepted.
Very good for one night, decent sanitary facilities, pitches a little too small. No credit card payment. One van and two people without electricity: €23.64 in April.
We spent one night here on April 9. Nice pitches; the approach is winding but paved and easy enough with our campervan (Sprinter). Larger vehicles were there too. Reception staff were friendly, sanitary facilities clean and with hot water. Two adults in a camper without electricity: €23. Recommended!
We are here for the second time (also stayed a year and a half ago). A very pleasant campsite. Beautiful pitches, lovely greenery that is well maintained, and neat sanitary facilities. The biggest advantage is that it is quiet while still being close to the city. Ten minutes by bicycle to the center. The access road is not very wide, but it was manageable with our Hymer, 2.35 m wide and 6.60 m long.
