Quiet place to spend the night, beside a small road. No noise except for the sheep that came to visit and wake us at the end of the night. Superb view of the fjord.
Small pitch for two campers directly beside the lightly used road. Fantastic view of the lake. A few sheep come by in the evening. Great for one night!
Better to find something other. Every few minutes a cars passing and on the evening sheeps can be interested on your car. This is just a place to sleep ,just in case, if you dont have other options and is late.
Very good for spending the night if you are passing through, as the options in this region are limited. A little noise during the day.
This place is welcome because all the parking areas along the road are explicitly prohibited for motorhomes. But when we arrived, we found a motorhome spread across both spaces, with table and chairs set up and blocking everything. So we went farther up.
We had a very quiet night here with a beautiful view over the valley. When we arrived yesterday evening, a Norwegian camper was already here. Shortly after it left this morning, a German camper joined us. Traffic on Monday morning was barely worth mentioning.
As already mentioned, a spot above a lake. Someone passes by every 15–25 minutes; after midnight it is quiet, and in the morning sheep wake you up.
This is not a parking space but a pull-off on the road, allowing vehicles to pass each other because Route 520 is narrow for several dozen kilometres. We should not recommend parking here. These spaces are common in Norway and should not be confused with parking areas.
The road is closed by a barrier, unfortunately.
