Been here?
A gravel parking area beside the forest with views over the fields and Donnersberg, serving as a starting point for walks. It is free, with benches and rubbish bins, and the nearby country road has little traffic. The area can be busy with walkers and visitors during the day, but recent reports describe very quiet nights.

Very beautiful place, but busy. Late in the evening there were youths, but they behaved and left before we went to sleep. Some hikers came in the morning. Everyone was very friendly. Very quiet at night despite being on a road, which is not heavily trafficked. The entrance dips, but it should not be a problem for normal vehicles.
We spent one night here in our 7-metre motorhome. Rubbish bins available, directly at the edge of the forest with a view over the fields. Many walkers in the morning, with whom we had very pleasant conversations and received excursion tips. The night was extremely quiet.
A pure motorhome parking area, which is also intended to be labelled as such in future: "This site is ideal for nature and active holidaymakers who want to explore the surroundings. Its design follows the tourism concept of the Göllheim municipal association and the Donnersberg district, specifically targeting groups such as active nature lovers..."
Lovely spot on the edge of the forest, with a beautiful sunset view. Located next to a small road, but not many cars drive by. Many walkers' cars come and go, but it is not disturbing. We went cycling nearby; beautiful surroundings. Only downside: lots of tiny flies. They do not bite, but they are irritating.
We spent a quiet night here.
Great place. We spent one night there and enjoyed the Wichtel hiking trails with the dogs. Would return anytime.
One of our favourite park-ups yet. Beautiful view and sunset. So peaceful - near to a country road with minimal traffic. Bench and bins on site. Friendly hikers around in the day, then we were alone from 20:00. The only warning would be of the gravel entrance road. Trees are planted on both sides which narrows the road. We managed in our Sprinter but it could be a struggle for wider vehicles.
Gravel car park, fairly steep slope. Bring levelling blocks to stand flat. Beautiful walk.
Great quiet spot. No other cars during the night. Few cars appear in the morning, mainly people arriving for walks, all riendly folks.
Beautiful view with immediate access to a wonderful forest hike. A great option for a free park and not far off the highway. Also, only two minutes away from a nice Wasgau grocery store to restock.
Wonderful view, very quiet. We spent one night there with a roof tent; the residents were very friendly. There are rubbish bins and lovely walking paths.
