A quiet roadside wild spot with panoramic views over the plains, dramatic sunsets and good stargazing. The path is passable, but there are no services. It can be windy, especially in August, while traffic is limited and may stop after 6… on weekdays.

Spent one night here. The place further south on this lane has a more dramatic and sunset facing view, but it was more exposed to the wind direction and dark clouds when we visited, so we stayed at this place. Was still a little windy, but OK. During our midweek visit, there were no vehicles after 6pm, and two or three in the morning.
Superb view, incredible sunset and sunrise. Quiet. Silence at night. In August, however, it is extremely windy. Difficult to stay clean with the fine dirt.
Lovely spot with breathtaking views over The Valley with city lights. Good for star gazing. Stayed here a on the weekend with only a few cars in the morning.
Peaceful night with very good views, ideal for enjoying the starry sky. No services. In the morning, workers' cars and vans pass by, but nothing more.
