Churchside parking, hourly bells

Fill your water here before continuing to the place below by the river! The 1/2-inch thread is a little outdated but still works.

First, a young man arrived by car and warned us about other people. Later, two young men with a strange license plate arrived, stopped briefly, thought about it and looked suspiciously, then quickly drove on. We also have a large dog. Either it was an act to drive campers away or there were criminal intentions. We left.

The night was okay. The dogs are very friendly; one of them just barked a lot during the night, and the church bell rings every hour.

We slept here for one night; it was very quiet. From time to time the two dogs bark when they hear people. We fed them; they are very cute.

Amazing, calm place to stay with the sweetest dogs. Just be aware if you have a male as one of the dogs is a really big male but super calm. They respect it if you tell them to keep a distance while you walk your dog. They appreciate food and water and will guard your car at night

A warm welcome from the two very kind and affectionate dogs. One is as impressive as he is adorable. They are healthy and appreciate good pâté! The spot is quiet and level, with little traffic and a water fountain available.

Great spot just two steps from the motorway. Very quiet, the two dogs are always there and very friendly. Fountain always open. Very nice local residents. Thank you for sharing this place.

perfect stopover to break a journey, just 5 mins off the motorway but can barely hear the traffic. the 2 dogs are indeed very friendly, they enjoyed our dog's dentastix! you barely have chance to get out the van, they will greet you before the church so slow down. some hunters on a Sunday morning but friendly. nice scenery so probably stuff to do but we just arrived left and left early.

Very lovely view of the mountains. Quiet and relaxing. A water fountain. Attention: there are two friendly stray dogs; bring them some food if you come … thank you. And no bins! Be considerate and keep the place clean! Ciao!

Very nice there; the only drawback is that the church bell is very loud and rings every hour!

Not a suitable overnight place for us. Low water pressure. Very sweet stray dogs who enjoy being petted. Make sure the dogs' water is topped up.

Very nice place where we found shelter during a storm. A lovely surprise near the motorway, quiet, where you can sleep (even though the church also strikes the hours at night) and have a picnic. The place is clean, so please keep your rubbish with you because there are no bins. A small fountain. There are also two loose dogs; they are very affectionate.

Very nice & peaceful place to stay for a night by the church. We stayed here on two different occasions. Two very sweet stray dogs are around in the evenings, one of which has some bad wounds. Anyone coming please bring supplies to help treat him (disinfectant/bandages) & food for the both of them. We have left a pink bowl near the water fountain, please fill it with water for them if you come!

if you follow the road down past the church you come to a bend on the right marked 'area picnic' track suitable for 4wd and small vans. Our dimensions 2.8 h x 1.9 w x 5.2 l. We spent a pleasant night at picnic area. Further on the river is accessible for washing.

Great quiet spot. Unfortunately, the navigation system sent us the wrong way and we ended up in a small village on the village square. We then found it directly through the app on our phone. The dogs greeted us right away :) There was water too. Please take your rubbish with you, as there is no disposal facility.

Quiet and relatively peaceful. One of the three dogs has lice and will probably die soon. The water is very good. The bells ring every hour.
