A daytime car park beside the road with beautiful views of the lake and marmot glacier. It has two dining tables, free services and an entry point that is slightly difficult. The area can be busy and noisy during the day, but recent comments describe peaceful nights and nearby walking routes. A small shop selling fresh bread at 8:30 is about 150 m away.

A good spot to stop if you do not want to use the overpriced tunnel.
Magical! A lovely discovery!
Convenient stopping area with free services, wonderful views, excellent for travelling through France.
It is always a delight when we pass through this site for a quiet night.
Magnificent in May. The mountains are still covered in snow and the lake level is very low. We parked on the descent near the Franco-Italian house. We woke up to marmots and blue skies.
Great spot day and night. Beautiful scenery during the day and very quiet at night. However, there is no mobile signal here.
Parked right above the church. There is also a fountain with cold water for filling containers. The “famous” Moncenisio stop, recommended for everyone travelling by campervan to France who wants to avoid the tunnels. Cool, peaceful night.
Flat parking area beside the road, noisy during the day but quiet at night. Lovely walk around the lake on foot or by gravel bike. Small shop with fresh bread at 8:30 a.m.
