Beautiful grounds with a restaurant, playground, workshops and bakery. Please pay attention to the opening hours. Unfortunately, the toilets were closed in the morning. Gravel area overlooking the fields, slightly sloped, but the pitches are large.
Large, spacious gravel area. The sanitary building is quite far away and requires walking across the grounds, as does the fresh-water tap. Refilling water is only possible with a watering can or something similar. We tried to contact the operator on 1 September, but the phone was either on voicemail or rejected the call, and I received no reply to an email.
Good-value motorhome stop in peaceful, beautiful surroundings! Unfortunately, the restaurant and craft shops were closed this year, hence not five stars. Fresh, well-organized, with lots to walk around and discover. Water play area for children, swimming area and historic buildings. Nice walking trails with the dog. A stone’s throw from Bollnäs. Highly recommended!
Although the site is not open for the summer, we were allowed to stay in the lovely early-summer meadow and hills, but with no services at all. It is supposed to open in 2023, though not the restaurant. The bakery will be open. Other facilities are supposed to open too. Bring proper leveling blocks because the pitches slope slightly. Surface: gravel. Good walking area. Swimming. Lit area. Booking can be made by phone. Payment by app.
A beautiful location with a fascinating history. Highly recommended.
