Friendly welcome at this quiet campsite. The sanitary facilities are well maintained and clean. A great campsite for a short stay.
great site, kind owners, lovely bathrooms. Just note there is no longer a washing machine. £35 2 ppl, motorhome, electric
Wonderful family who take care of the site. Very clean facilities, flexible arrival, charming reception, and a nice walk around the nearby forest.
Great place, nice facilities, dog walks, and very friendly.
A beautiful campsite. Extremely friendly welcome and the most beautiful sanitary facilities I have ever seen. The only downside was our pitch next to the road; our tent obviously did not block the noise. On the other side of the field, or on the non-electric tent field, this would probably not be a problem. All this at a very reasonable price: we paid £42 for two adults and three children, with a discount for the youngest.
Pleasant campsite. Board games are available, as are complimentary shower gels and shampoos. However, there is no rubbish bin in the sanitary facilities, and the shower system is a little annoying, with the light timer being too short, leaving you in the dark while showering, and the hot water supply being unpredictable. A shame, because the site is great.
A lovely unexpected spot when you turn a corner. Clean toilets, nice pitches, friendly welcome, and plenty of walking opportunities. We even stayed an extra night, which we do not often do.
Ideal location for visiting Highclere, and fortunately the very friendly owner was able to give us information about the visit. If you are planning a visit this summer (2025), online tickets for the castle are sold out. Please note that it is not possible to drive over the grey-water drainage area for those who, like us, have an underneath drainage system.
Such a friendly welcome; we felt very welcome and could choose from three pitches. Plenty of space, very clean sanitary facilities, everything was great. Recommended! A trip to Newbury, 7 km away, is excellent.
Super-friendly place, with a beautiful view and a walk nearby. The sanitary facilities are very clean. Definitely recommended. £30 for two people and a dog.
Very beautiful and peaceful site. We received an extremely friendly welcome. Highly recommended. The sanitary facilities are spotlessly clean. The price is reasonable.
Great site. Quiet and plenty of space. The wash block is one of the best! Great for dogs as there is a walk near the entrance.
Stayed many times. This is our go-to site when I can stop with my wife so she can get to her office in Newbury, the owners are very friendly. Sites is very tidy and level. Toilets are spotless
Such a lovely welcome from the owner, even though we arrived a little late. The campsite is quiet and the sanitary facilities are very clean. In short, a recommended stopover.
Perfect and very level meadow, where we stayed, with very clean facilities. The lady was very helpful when we arrived a little late, by UK standards, after coming from Portsmouth by ferry from Santander.
