An unpaved lay-by at the top of a pass, large enough for 1 camper van, beside footpaths into the hills on both sides. It is a quiet overnight spot, with occasional cars and cyclists using the popular route. Avoid parking in the passing places on either side.

Had a peaceful night here, after initially planning to stop further down the pass, but finding the spot already taken. Loved having the space to ourselves. Enjoyed an evening walk up to Great Carrs. Quite a few cyclists early evening when we arrived, with the very occasional car. No traffic after dark.
