Unnamed Road, 09800, Les Bordes-sur-Lez
Been here?
This is a riverside parking area and starting point for walks to a spectacular waterfall, with toilets and a restaurant nearby. The river offers a place to cool off, and the site is busy during the day but quieter at night. Access is restricted: the gate is 2m maximum, some vehicle passages do not exceed 2m, and branches may reach about 2.5m. It is not recommended for large motorhomes; a dedicated parking area is 1km downhill.

Very beautiful place, with quite a few vehicles during the day. Quieter at night. The river provides a refreshing break. However, there is no internet or phone connection.Translating
Flat parking area at the back of the valley. Very busy in mid-August, but still calm and respectful. By the river, where you can cool off and enjoy the mountains.Translating
The 2 m maximum-height barrier was open, but the branches seem to be around 2.5 m high. The access route between the cars is sometimes no more than 2 m wide. Therefore not recommended for motorhomes. There is a dedicated parking area 1 km downhill, but it is really ugly. Free mobile network available occasionally. Following the river uphill, there are lots of small waterfalls and natural pools.Translating
I was there this morning. Extremely popular... book outside the high season, but it is really lovely! Toilets on site. And a restaurant next door.Translating
Beautiful place for hiking. I spent the night in a parking lot. Very busy during the day on summer weekends. We had a quiet night. Many people at the restaurant were wild camping in tents. Clean up your mess, people—including your toilet paper.Translating
Nice spot to start a hike the next morning. You can swim, with a beautiful view of the mountain and a few houses. Good outside the summer season; after summer, I can't imagine how crowded it gets... We rate it 4 out of 5 because it remains a parking area for hiking departures, and we prefer being immersed in nature, lost in the middle of nowhere, to spend the night. Good for one night.Translating
Magnificent site, with the possibility of swimming in the river. Starting point for hikes. We gave it 4 out of 5 because parking is difficult and the place is very popular—arrive very early in the morning or after 7 p.m.Translating
Great spot beside the crystal-clear river, with toilets, a picnic table, and a beautiful view. We recommend it.Translating
A beautiful setting with incredible walks all around. Quiet & peaceful. Definitely recommend!
Very good spot for spending the night before setting off on a hike. Very quiet, with toilets and picnic tables. Restaurant just a stone's throw away. Great.Translating
