Roadside pull-in bay along a gravel road near a mountain brook, big enough for one compact motorhome only — tight turning space limits larger vehicles. It's free and quiet, with the brook masking road noise, though wind can pick up. No posted camping ban here, but nearby spots often have prohibition signs. One visitor felt uneasy about nearby shooting-range-like sounds and traffic.

We stopped at the beginning of the track; there was no prohibition sign either. Everything was perfect. It was very windy that day, but otherwise ideal. Quiet and FREE. That is difficult in Switzerland.
We spent ages looking for a parking place near the Gelmerbahn without a “Camping forbidden” sign, and finally found one here. Not exceptionally beautiful, but ideal for one night. Because of the river, you can hardly hear the vehicles on the adjacent road.
We wanted to stop here but there were loads of car and also we were scared we get shot as the sounds of range or whatever it was…so we drove away as quick as possible.
Very quiet place with no traffic when I was there. It is not a paradise, but perfect if you want to spend a peaceful night.
