Been here?
A free parking place on a hill with excellent views over Lake Balaton, shade, picnic tables, and a playground. The museum provides Wi-Fi 24/7, while nearby toilets are open from 10am to 8pm and cost 200 huf. The lake is not directly accessible from the parking area, but a dog-friendly beach is easy to reach.

Great place. Kind people. Lookout tower nearby—dogs allowed and welcome. The lookout tower has a toilet. Open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
Great spot! We spent two nights there with our dog and felt perfectly safe. There is access to drinking water and picnic tables. Access to the beach is also very easy, and there is even a dog beach :) .
Slept very peacefully, playground, everything clean, great view and shade. Top-notch!
For anyone wanting a panoramic view of Lake Balaton, this is the perfect place. It is peaceful at night and shady during the day.
Nice view, accessible for all types. Wi-fi available 24/7 next to the museum. Also payed toilets in opening hours (200 huf).
Wonderfully beautiful place with a view of the lake. You are on a hill, so there is no direct access to the lake. Water tap in the playground and very quiet day and night. Perfect. Please keep it clean and do not take up five parking spaces with awnings.
Quiet, clean, and empty in April. The next building has a toilet that opens in the morning and costs 200 forints without a ticket.
Very quiet, but apparently it is a 25-minute walk to go swimming. We had already inflated the kayak, so we did not stay.
Free parking spot with a view over Lake Balaton. Really safe and quiet; the motorway is also nearby, about 4 km away.
This place is perfect for parking overnight, we came around 7 pm and nobody was there. Very quiet, not perfect horizontal parking place, but no drama. If you travel with dog, there is large grass place for walking. There is only one bad point, no access to the water.
Good place; three motorhomes stayed overnight there in early October. However, there are fairly bright streetlights on one side. Very quiet!
I recommend it: peace and quiet. Parking among the trees. Playground next door. View of Lake Balaton. Cycling paths. A restaurant a few hundred meters away. Reasonable prices. Unfortunately, by evening they had run out of food, but you can have wine or beer.
A very beautiful view of Lake Balaton. Nice and quiet! I spent two nights there alone in my car and was not afraid.
