Been here?
A riverside daytime parking spot near a forest, with a beautiful view and opportunities for walking, fishing, and watching birds. The Durance is directly below, but access to the water is difficult, and the approach road is in very poor condition. A no-camping sign is present, and the site may be closed when too crowded, with people checking the area.

Very beautiful, but far too many people!!! We did not stay.
By the Durance, in a quiet location. Lovely encounters with other vanlifers, as well as European bee-eaters that come to nest by the water. Open and shaded. A beautiful natural spot to be respected!
A really lovely spot, quiet, relatively flat, and easy to access. Little birds and everything (especially magnificent multicoloured bee-eaters nesting nearby). Apart from around thirty electricity pylons that slightly spoil the view, nothing to complain about.
Very nice place in winter! Quiet, no traffic, by the water—idyllic!
This place is frequented by undesirable people: local youths who loiter with what seem to be stolen cars. The police follow them and take the opportunity to make us leave. The water is below, access is difficult, with a strong current and lots of algae.
Simple and very beautiful. Large motorhomes probably won't make it up the gravel access road. We simply drove there and called the farm once we arrived. A very beautiful 30-minute hiking trail through the forest to a beach.
