Bridge parking, noisy road

good place to sleep after visiting Runde. Sleeping wasn't an issue for us. We parked up next to the picnic benches away from the road. The road wasn't too noisy for us. Free, flat and there is a bin.

We spent the night here on the way back from Runde. The road is only lightly traveled at night. The site is level. Great for one night!

Convenient on the way back from Runde, but the road is really very noisy. We even heard the foghorn in the morning!

Popular spot for a stopover after watching puffins on Runde in the evening. Fairly flat, good views but LOTS of road noise.

We slept well here, with a beautiful view; the Hurtigruten passes by. The road is audible but did not bother us. On Saturday night there was noise from cars with extremely loud music.

Beautiful, clean place with bins and two seating areas. There is quite a bit of traffic at night as well. We slept perfectly well here.

Fine for one night when returning late from Runde. Some traffic, but it did not prevent us from sleeping. Tables and bins on site.

We spent one weekday night here on the way back from Runde; there were several motorhomes. There is a lot of traffic on the adjacent road, including at night. There must also be an expansion joint at the entrance to the bridge that bangs every time a vehicle passes. The result was an awful night, even with earplugs.

As others have said, surprisingly busy road. But it’s conveniently placed after seeing the puffins on Runde. And it’s free! No one bothered us.

Simply stop and enjoy the view over a cup of coffee! Not a place to park overnight!
