81 Rue des Laurons, 13117, Martigues
Been here?
Seafront parking at the small port of L'Aurons, where recent stays have been quiet and possible overnight. The surface is stony and uneven, with anglers and walkers passing by, while the opposite factory remains visible. The spot is exposed to wind but offers direct sea access and clear water for swimming. No services are mentioned.

Despite the factory opposite, which you soon forget, this is a great spot, thank you. It is probably one of the best within 50 km along the coast. We spent three nights with our wheels almost in the water.
10/10. We spent two nights here. Anglers and walkers passed by regularly. The car park is stony and uneven, but it did not bother us much. I found the evening view of the factory beautiful. We could even swim in crystal-clear water. You can also catch the occasional fish here, though it is very rocky and shallow for fishing. Great for simply relaxing.
We spent one night here. It is actually a very beautiful place with a lovely sunset. The next morning, the local police sent us away very rudely. Although there is no prohibition sign, they said it is forbidden to stay overnight.
We stayed here for one night to rest. Very peaceful and quiet. The only issue is the weather: because it is so exposed, it can be quite gusty when windy, but nothing worrying.
A natural place like we love. Absolute peace, fishermen and the sound of the waves. The refinery is not bothersome. Tonight there are four motorhomes.
A rare place without a no-motorhome sign. Superb waves. A popular spot with surfers who arrive very early. The power station opposite is not bothersome at all.
Cool little car park, not too central, making it ideal for overnight stays. The harbour and bay provide some protection from the wind. The factory opposite is ugly but not really bothersome. Day visitors regularly come by car to fish or cycle.
Fantastic but very windy parking spot directly by the sea. The large refinery opposite is not bothersome at all. Bins available. Many day visitors come to swim or fish. We spent a pleasant night with the wonderful sound of the sea. A very magical place for me.
Views of large buildings. So much for the beach.
