This is a free daytime parking area beside a beautiful white-sand beach, with picnic tables and walking access to the village. Fresh water is available, but the toilets are currently closed due to vandalism. Many spaces are reserved for residents, so only the unreserved spaces should be used. A sauna and benches are available nearby for daytime visits.

Great daytime stop right next to a beautiful white-sand beach. Free parking with fresh water, toilets (when open), and picnic tables. Perfect for a walk, a swim, or simply enjoying the scenery. Please respect the local parking rules, as many spaces are reserved for residents. Ideal for a relaxing daytime break, but not for overnight camping.
It is possible to refill the water, but the toilets are closed due to vandalism.

Very quiet parking area, with little traffic. Right next to the parking area there is a wonderful sauna with a view of the fjord!! It is possible and easy to book for the next day by SMS. Some parking spaces are reserved with signs for locals (probably from the sports club). However, there are also 4–5 free parking spaces where you can stay. There is now a brand-new barrel sauna directly on the beach. You call there, it takes one hour to preheat, and then you can sauna with a view of the beach. Cost: NOK 500 per hour.Translating
75% of the parking area is reserved for residents. When we were there, everything was empty, with space for 2–3 motorhomes. The toilets were used by buses and their passengers, who also relieved themselves in the surrounding countryside. It is not always the motorhomes that cause the mess.
