Coastal parking in La Rochelle with a nice view. It is now paid and restricted to vehicles up to 2m high and 5m long. There is no electricity or toilet within 200 m, and spaces fill quickly during the day; overnight suitability is uncertain.

This is false; this place is paid.
We had no problem parking, either lengthwise or height-wise. I read comments about fines, but we saw no signs and found no ticket. Perfect for the day; best to arrive early because it fills up. We did not stay overnight, so I cannot say whether that is a problem.
The parking lot and all other parking areas nearby are only allowed for vehicles up to 2 m high and 5 m long! Otherwise it would be great! However, we did not risk trouble with the police and went to the official motorhome site.
Parking right next to a road, very crowded, paid, and no room to park.
Not permitted for vehicles over 5 meters long and 2 meters high. The municipal police patrol regularly during the high season.
Not easy to find a space during the day. The perpendicular streets have a little more room. I did not stay overnight. Easy access for a motorhome. Close to the beach and town.
