4x4 access only
Getting here needs an off-road vehicle. Check your ground clearance before setting off.
A tiny off-road spot on a cliff with beautiful views and space for about 2 Land Rover-sized vehicles. The rocky, steep access strongly favours 4X4s, although experienced drivers have managed with 2WD; turn 10 metres before the cliff edge. It is in the Sintra-Cascais natural park, where overnight stays are prohibited.

Lovely spot for 2 land rover sized vehicles you can turn around but be careful as its on a cliff edge turn 10 metres before , beautiful views. 4X4 preferred but can be done with 2 wheels but I suggest 4X4 type tyres and good ground clearance. It's very clean there now rubbish so please look after it.
We tried it at dusk with a T4, without 4WD, and gave up. The last few metres were simply too steep and bumpy. We were afraid we would not be able to get back up the next morning :) Although others have written that it is possible, every driver has to decide for themselves whether to do it or not.
Beautiful spot; 4WD is recommended for access. There is no one hanging around at the site anymore.
We stayed here 3 nights and was there when the “creep” was apparently there. We didn’t encounter any creeps apart from some very friendly and respectful fisherman who had no problem with us there. We made it with 2WD van no problems for experienced drivers.
We come one day later and the creep is still there - read the comment from the person below us. It’s also hard to get up without 4x4 but we managed.
Amazing spot, literally perfect view and sunset. The only problem was that a creepy guy talking by himself came several time around the van between 6pm and 10:30pm and made us no choice but to leave.
calm yet reachable with stunning view and lots of wind. just amazing also for hiking
It has an excellent view, good for hiking, but be careful, it is a natural park, Sintra-Cascais, where overnight stays are prohibited.
We are travelling through Portugal in a Sprinter and used this beautiful parking area for one night and to relax at the end of the evening. Great spot / beautiful view. We did not have 4WD, but it was still quite manageable.
Accessible with an L3H2, but the lanes are narrow and bumpy. It is possible with precision, but you have to be careful with the bodywork; it is better to be comfortable with manoeuvring. The place is worth the trip for the view.
Fantastic place, we stayed for two nights. Beautiful view. You can descend via a steep path to a lovely little beach.
Nice place right on the cliff for 2-3 vans. You will meet some fishermen and their cars (without any problem). Really steep road back up, do not recommend for rainy days!
