Solleys farm camping

Beautiful quiet place to sleep. One night on a farm for £40 is too expensive compared with other campsites offering better facilities. The farm is worked during the day. Camping is more of a side business, but very expensive. The pub closes at 8 pm and had no food when we were there. In hot weather we miss having trees. By bike you can quickly reach Deal and the sea.

A must if you want to visit or leave this island. Excellent campsite, rural, about 10 km from Dover, very friendly welcome, modern sanitary facilities, a cozy pub with delicious food and their own ice-cream production. The pitches are large, with or without electricity, and have beautiful views of the countryside. Unfortunately, we only discovered it on the last day of our trip. Absolutely recommended!!

We enjoyed the ice cream and the pub. The price is rather expensive. The sanitary facilities are good. There is no clear grey-water disposal ("on the floor"); otherwise everything is available as described. Our two nights were very quiet, despite the BBQ Motorbike Night. The ice cream and location are "famous" in the region.

Completely overpriced hipster campsite with arrogant and overbearing staff. £38 per night without electricity. Partying until late at night on weekends.

We spent two nights there in July 2024, a magnificent place where you can watch ice cream being made and taste it on site. Lots of space, in the middle of nature. The children loved it, even without a playground, and there are lovely walks around. The sanitary facilities were new, arranged as mini shower rooms, each with a toilet, sink and shower.
