Quiet park site, volunteer electricity

On July 26 we could not park in the motorhome area because it was occupied for the Cheese and Honey Fair. It was unfortunate, since the suggested alternatives were much worse than the motorhome area. We ended up parking on a nearby street. The night was very unpleasant, with the fair's music continuing until around 2 a.m.

parked here overnight and was very quiet. nice park and football nets for the children and also lots of benches and bbq facilities. didnt visit the town but would definitely stay again

Fantastic area, large, flat spaces, with all services free, including electricity. It is managed by volunteer firefighters. If you go to get the electricity key or have the N2 passport stamped, it is a good idea to leave a small donation for maintenance. They also stamp the passport at the cultural center and tourist office. The pastry shop on the main street is incredible.

Fantastic parkup, missing nothing. Don't miss the fantastic barbecue restaurant. Great food, and incredible value. We had two main courses, wine, water and coffee for €21.50.

Free area with waste emptying and water; electricity is also available on the parking side. The parking area is slightly sloped, easily solved with leveling blocks. Thank you to the municipality for providing this space.

On Saturday evening of Easter weekend, music was playing loudly at the nearby community hall, immediately next to the motorhome area. We didn't need electricity or waste emptying. We'll see how the night goes!

Beautiful site on the edge of the village, quiet at night. Some pitches are a little sloped but can be leveled with blocks. There is no shade anywhere, so it can get very hot in summer!

There is currently a construction site right next door. The workers start early in the morning. Otherwise, it was very quiet here.

a really quiet spot. Trees aren't there anymore as a result of major storm damage. Facilities are clean and away from the camper parking so no one has to park right next to it. Thank-you so much to the council for providing this space.

Huge area, parking on sloping asphalt, so leveling is advisable. Water and emptying services for grey water and cassettes. Away from traffic. We only stopped to shop. Shops are 100 m away, very convenient. One motorhome spent the night here, but we did not; we continued along the N2. Thanks to the municipality for this service.

Area with waste emptying and water; electricity is available for the upper pitches. Slightly sloped. Very quiet—we spent two nights here. Very close to the center. Very clean, with green spaces, picnic tables and a barbecue. Very pleasant and convenient for visiting the surroundings.

Thank you very much to the toen of Vila de Rei for providing such a facility. Free electricity, waste disposal, chemical toilet disposal, water, bbq area, and seating. And all close to the centre ot town. The only downside is the lack of a toilet if the library is closed.

the only free service area with electricity included which is very handy! there wasn't a lot of shade and it was also not very clean but there was a lot of space and the electricity for free came very handy! great job in vila de rei for motorhomes and people doing N2.

Thank you to the town of Vila de Rei for this motorhome area with all services free of charge. Very well located for a walk around town and a visit to the municipal market right next door.

Very good space. Free electricity. Waste emptying area and water all working. The surrounding area is good for walks. Outside the village there are many boardwalks and waterfalls to see.

What more could you ask for? All services are free, including electricity; it is quiet at night, and the small town is pleasant. Two ideal nights. Thank you to the municipality of Vila de Rei.

Space with all the necessary facilities for emptying grey and black water. It has a barbecue area, tables and a sink, and is lit. The only thing missing is electricity. Peaceful night, waking to the sound of the church bell. Vila de Rei deserves congratulations.

Nice and spacious caravan area. You can empty grey water, fill with fresh water and empty the toilet here. Everything is clean and well maintained. I felt completely safe here.

On another visit to this village to hike another trail, we spent the night in this park. Quiet place with little noise during the night and normal services; unfortunately the electricity was switched off and there are no toilets. Thank you, Vila de Rei—certainly a place to return to.

We enjoyed staying here. Nice park-like surroundings. Peaceful. Mostly sunny, with some larger trees providing shade for a while. The only negative is that the drinking water was yellowish, so it did not feel safe to use.

An official free camper site in the center. Seven spaces are designated for campers. There is also a service point for emptying black and grey water and taking on fresh water. It is located in a small park, with barbecues and seating. It is very well maintained. We slept wonderfully here. It is very quiet. Recommended.

Quiet, beautiful place. We are currently the only ones here, in the sun at this lovely spot. Free, including electricity. The only things missing are a shower and toilet. Friendly town.
