Unnamed Road, 20263, Lumbarda
Been here?
A daytime parking area near the lighthouse, reached by a rocky dirt road with a size-limiting sign but no barrier. It offers a beautiful viewpoint, clear water for swimming and many fish, with a nearby cliff-jumping spot. Overnight stays are expressly prohibited, and police patrols frequently; fines are ca. 500,-€.

Spending the night there is expressly prohibited. The police patrol almost every day! Fines of around €500!
The road to the place is rocky. We parked there for a day; it is a great place for swimming, with lots of fish and clear water. Nearby is an excellent cliff-jumping spot. Top-notch.
Same as tree spot: We got fined 1000 kuna 9am local, the morning after we camped. The policeman was very nice but would not waive the fine. We arrived at sunset but people saw us turn up and there were some night fishermen too. There was a bin truck about 30 minutes earlier.. probably they reported us. Perhaps the police were just checking. We were discreet in converted panel van and stealthy.
Incredible, wonderful place. Unfortunately, there are signs prohibiting camping all along the road, and the police also passed by in the afternoon. Absolutely avoid lighting fires or barbecues, and raise the awning only as evening falls. Lots of mosquitoes.
Excellent spot. We were completely alone in June 2022. However, there is a no-camping sign at the entrance by the road. It is very far out, though.
Amazing spot, worth 5 stars but there are many "no camping" signs nearby. We were there in October and loved this place.
No campers? Actually, a really great place, perhaps too beautiful? A new large prohibition sign at the access road stopped us from spending the night there. Basically a great place; for anyone who dares and is not afraid of possible problems or the police, it is an excellent spot. Unfortunately, the prohibitions are becoming more numerous and increasingly clear. What a shame.
