224 Visserseiland, 1621 AA, Hoorn
Been here?
A secured marina parking area with 24 dedicated camper spaces, ideally located for visiting Hoorn's historic center and old harbor on foot. The pitches are on asphalt, somewhat narrow, and have limited space between neighbors, but electricity and marina toilets and showers are available through a QR code. The sanitary facilities are new but may not always be clean. Departure is required by 12.

If you can't scan the QR code, ring the bell and the barrier will open. You can pay at the marina; the office is upstairs. The area is very well located.
We were initially skeptical, but completely without reason. Nice site. The rear pitches are best and are opposite a small playground. Perfect for families passing through.
The pitch's main advantage is its perfect location—the old town of Hoorn is easily reachable on foot. Water and waste services are available. However, the layout and pitches are rather utilitarian and not very attractive. With large motorhomes, driving out through the town is somewhat challenging. Overall, a good base for visiting the city.
The facilities are new but not very clean. You must leave the pitch at noon. The office is almost always closed, so you have to be lucky and get someone to answer the phone.
Great site—better check in beforehand, as the entrance is directly on a bend and you block everything. You actually stand only on asphalt and don't have much space next to your neighbor. But the site is perfect for visiting the beautiful city. Unfortunately, you can only leave the fenced area at the very front through an opening. The sanitary facilities are excellent—clean and included. The city has many great cafés and restaurants.
Very convenient, close to Hoorn's historic center and port, both worth visiting. Very well equipped, but it remains a protected parking area attached to the marina. There are 24 large spaces reserved for motorhomes, which is why, despite many available spaces, many people park in the spaces reserved for cars... go figure.
An excellent dedicated camper stop as part of the marina car park with power and access to clean toilets and showers. Easy walking distance to the town centre and old harbour which is definitely worth a visit. Access and payment via a QR code on the entrance gate.
Fenced marina grounds, quiet, with a good walking path to the historic and worthwhile old town.
Everything you need. In the harbor. Close to the center. Great.
Stayed here for one night. The cost was €26. Electricity was included, but one hookup cabinet didn't work. We had brought extra cables, so it wasn't a problem for us. The sanitary facilities were fresh and tidy. Quiet asphalt parking area. Three minutes' walk from the center of Hoorn. Nice center, and the terraces were full. 4 stars: the electricity from “our” cabinet didn't work. There were 40 campers present.
A very good site with everything you need. Easy payment by QR code, Wi-Fi access at the harbor office, and only a few minutes to the beautiful city center. We can recommend the site.
The site no longer exists!!! You basically have to drive to the other side, 17 minutes by camper. The site is great: clean, heated toilets and showers, and everything you need. About a 20-minute walk into Hoorn city center.
This marina is closed in winter, from October 1 until the beginning of April. During that time, the camper pitches are occupied by boats belonging to berth holders. In winter you can stay at Watersport Vereniging Hoorn. Don't drive there straight through the city; take the Hoorn–Enkhuizen provincial road and turn right at the IJsselmeer dike.
Absolute parking-lot feeling. Fenced harbor area—no idea why it needs to be so secure. We stayed one night while passing through. The city center is very nice and within walking distance. You can barely see the water and harbor from the pitches. Sanitary facilities were very clean. Overall, enough for one night.
Scan the QR code at the gate. Register on the website. We paid by Visa card. A QR code is then sent by email, which you can use to open the gate. Scanner at the bottom left. It also gives access to the toilets, showers, and exit. The town is well worth visiting. We also took the train to Amsterdam and Alkmaar.
Beautifully located, close to the center. Spacious pitches. Clean and well-kept sanitary facilities. Wi-Fi password available from the harbor master. TOP!
Large parking area at the marina. All services are available, both for motorhome servicing and sanitary facilities. There is no view of the harbor, but it is very convenient for visiting the city and feels safe. Access via QR code and registration, payment by card, but very simple.
A large and very pleasant place to stay overnight and continue your journey through the Netherlands, I recommend it to everyone.
Perfect for visiting the city.
The location and price are excellent. The fact that everything is fenced and there is only one entrance is a little annoying, and you can't get rid of the parking-lot feel.
Stop at the marina. Access through the gate via QR code, with all services included inside. Recommended.
Good pitch for one night to explore Hoorn and the surrounding area. Sanitary facilities very clean. Nice harbor master. Check-in via QR code is straightforward.
The view is poor; you stand in the rear section of the harbor parking area. Satellite reception and the view of the water are blocked by large trees. We feel imprisoned. Toilets and washrooms are clean. We won't return.
Has everything you need, and you can pay. with normal credit card on line. Town is very interesting, a short walk. Bit uneasy about depending on an emailed QR code as the key to open gates, any problems with the phone and we could be locked in!
Very nice place with excellent proximity to the town. Clean and nice sanitary facilities. Quiet and peaceful, and can be safely recommended.
€23 for one night including electricity. On arrival the gate was open; we paid using the QR code displayed on the building to the left, where the showers and toilets were also located—clean and new. The town is within walking distance. The site was well occupied even outside the holiday season. There is a small café serving coffee and croissants in the morning. We would come again.
Everything available: toilet, clean showers, bistro, plenty of space. Wi-Fi code from the harbor master, but the signal is weak. The parking spaces in the middle have satellite reception. Ten minutes' walk to the market with many pubs. At €23.70, the price is more than reasonable for what is offered.
Bathrooms completely renovated and very clean. New restaurant in the harbor.
Excellent stopping area at the marina. To enter, simply scan the QR code at the entrance and follow the instructions for payment and entry. Clean toilets and showers. There is also a children's playground. The center is a 10-minute walk away.
Spacious pitch with all services included. There is even the option of getting fresh croissants next to the sanitary facilities. Be careful: it is impossible to change the fresh-water hose to use your own, and some people, as often happens, clean their toilet with it.
Easy access. Position yourself to the side. Scan the QR code at the gate, register, and pay; you will then immediately receive your code by email to scan when entering through the gate. The spaces marked in yellow on the sea side are assigned to us. All services and electricity included! Impeccable sanitary facilities. Close to this lovely town! Really great!
A familiar stopover for touring North Holland. Years ago we paid €15 here, now it's €23. Nothing has changed; everything has simply got older. Everything is getting more expensive, except the free beer.
It's not a pretty place! Acceptable only as an emergency stop.
Showers and toilet are fine; okay for one night. €22.50, card only.
Quiet parking at the marina. Easy to reserve. Grassy area with a table in front of the marina. Very good for one night.
Quiet parking area with excellent services next to the marina.
Good site, but mainly just for overnight stays; otherwise rather barren—a parking lot after all. Facilities reasonably clean. For the price, I would have liked the Wi-Fi password to be included in the confirmation email, which already contained the gate entry code, rather than having to walk to the harbor master late at night. I think that wouldn't have been much extra effort. Otherwise, everything necessary is available.
