Been here?
This is a spacious lakeside campsite on Araksfjorden, with a large lawn, direct-water pitches and beautiful views. A recent stay cost 390 NKR for one night without electricity, while another cost 440 kr for two people and one night. The new sanitary building is clean, with showers, a kitchen and laundry facilities. Mosquitoes were numerous in some areas, but the road is barely audible.

Nice campsite by the water. We had to move from the originally selected tent pitch to somewhere nearer the center of the campsite because there were an incredible number of mosquitoes there. After moving, it was significantly better. The toilets and showers were fine, but I don't know why some showers were locked by the staff in the morning, causing a queue.
Large meadow, modern and clean sanitary facilities. 390 NOK per night without electricity, plus showers, which you are supposed to pay for but can then use without restriction. Great view and plenty of space.
Simply a very beautiful place, right by the lake or on the large lawn. The sanitary building is new and attractive. There is hardly any noise from the road. With the dream weather, we were able to swim in the lake.
Wonderful place directly on the fjord. Very clean sanitary facilities, friendly welcome, and pure idyll. Electricity is available except in the very first row by the water. We would be happy to come back.
Lovely place, relaxing by the water. You can choose your own pitch. The sanitary facilities are very clean and well maintained. At reception, rolls and small items such as sweets, chips, bread rolls, ice cream, and drinks are available for purchase. Two people, one night: 440 kr.
Beautiful campsite, somewhat expensive: two nights without electricity, two people, one VW T4, 826 NOK. I thought that was a lot, but the owner is very nice and there was an alphorn solo by the river every evening.
Top! Idyllic, quiet, friendly, … as described by the previous reviewer.
Great place. The lawn is lovingly maintained. Free choice of pitch. Very nice pitches by the water, but without electricity. One shower each for men and women. Not a problem for us because it was very quiet. There is a kitchen for cooking and washing dishes.
The toilet and shower building could be more central. It is a little far from everything but acceptable. Otherwise, everything is good.
Very beautiful, large campsite. Great view. Clean sanitary facilities. Friendly owner :)
Very well-maintained campsite in a beautiful location with a very friendly operator. Sanitary facilities are new and clean. Free choice of pitch; pitches on the lakeshore have no electricity. Canoe rental and firewood sales are available for the tripod fire and barbecue stands on the grounds. We liked it very much, even though, as is often the case, you can hear the road.
We spent two nights here. A fitting finale to our trip through Norway. For us, it was the best place. We could canoe, swim, and bake bread on sticks over the campfire in the evening! Super friendly and committed owner, exceptionally clean sanitary facilities. We would come back anytime. Thank you!
Absolutely fantastically beautiful! The owner has created such a lovely place with heart and common sense—simply fantastic!!!
Absolutely dreamlike place. The owner is very nice and accommodating. We stood right by the water. The sanitary facilities are very clean and almost new. The shower costs 25 kr. There are also a dryer, washing machine, microwave, and freezer for a small extra charge.
Really lovely place. The sanitary facilities are closed. If you don't need them, it is a great place to stay. We drove on.
Very beautiful, well-maintained campsite. Beautifully located by the lake. Grass and gravel pitches. Sanitary facilities are very clean and almost new.
Good, pleasant campsite for one night.
A beautiful place in the middle of nowhere by the water. The price-performance ratio is perfectly reasonable and there are few people.
Very beautiful campsite with an idyllic view of Bjåfjorden. The owner is very hospitable and takes good care of the grounds. The showers are clean. There are also tripods for cooking over a fire. We would be happy to return.
Fantastic view of the water; it is a shame that the pitches by the water have no electricity. The shower is rather expensive: 25 kroner for seven minutes. Sanitary facilities are very clean. The road above was no problem for us.
Beautiful place, clean sanitary facilities. You can clearly hear the road.
Beautiful pitches by the water. We were here for only one night, unfortunately. Good and clean sanitary facilities. Even Wi-Fi for teenagers. You can also do laundry here. Perfect place!
Great, spacious campsite with very good facilities and a swimming area. There is currently also a sanitary container with four complete bathrooms. Everything is in excellent condition and the service is friendly. We would return anytime.
This is a top-notch place with everything in place.
Great place; it is still being expanded.
We spent our first night in Norway at this campsite. Very friendly welcome, free choice of pitch, and clean sanitary facilities. We felt very comfortable and would return anytime.
Beautiful place by the lake and a lot of space, quiet, tiny beach with sand. Really nice and clean toilet and shower area. All Stars from us ☀️
A beautiful, clean, well-maintained campsite run by a friendly owner. Plenty of choice of pitches, even in the evening. Clean, modern sanitary facilities. Washing machines, dryers, microwave, refrigerator, and two sinks for washing dishes are available. There is a small kiosk at reception with a selection of items. The lake can be used for swimming and diving. Highly recommended, and we would gladly return.
We spent our first night in Norway here. The toilet and shower are new and very well maintained.
Wonderful campsite directly on Araksfjorden. Very clean grounds, friendly owner, park-like setting with flat grassy pitches. The road is barely audible. We stayed for three nights and would definitely return.
Wonderful, stress-free campsite with free choice of pitch and a very friendly owner! Good for fishing for small brown trout!
Super friendly operator. Very clean sanitary facilities. You can hear the road, but for us it was not bothersome at all. Free choice of pitch. Electricity is not available directly by the water. Good trout fishing spot. We highly recommend the place.
Super nice man at reception; rarely have we met such a kind and helpful man in Norway this year. Laundry room, showers, and toilets are very clean. Highly recommended!
Wonderful new place; we were right by the water. A fishing license costs 50 NOK and there really were trout, although I find 25 NOK for a hot shower, to put it mildly, rather cheeky. The view is fantastic and the sun shines beautifully during breakfast outdoors.
One of the newer places on our Norway tour. You need a 50 NOK day permit for fishing. We stood wonderfully right by the water. If you don't need electricity, as we didn't, it is a great place. Everything else has already been said here.
Plenty of space, many pitches without electricity in the middle section. Electricity is available elsewhere. Two washing machines cost 50 NOK per wash, and a dryer also costs 50 NOK. On the other side of the lake there is a major cycling route, including gravel and paved roads.
Friendly welcome from the nice operator. The site is enormous and well situated in the landscape. New sanitary building, unfortunately with only one shower, but still full marks.
Great, well-maintained campsite, extremely clean facilities, and a very nice operator.
Everything is as previously described: spacious and quiet when the owner is not mowing the lawn around lunchtime ;-)
