Unnamed Road, 13030, Oldenico
Been here?
A remote, quiet spot near shallow river water, surrounded by fields and with very little human activity. It is accessible to large campers, but there is no shade and access to water is not worthwhile. Mosquitoes can form dense clouds in the evening and sting, so mosquito nets are recommended.

Super calm and good for sleeping and morning coffee. But not for an evening meal outside - literal mosquito clouds - we opened doors for 10-15 seconds and spent 20minutes swatting mosquitos. And yes they sting. Not just bugs. Only recommended if you have mosquito nets. Access to water is not worth it. But it’s quiet and calm!
Very quiet place; saw only one walker in 24 hours. Just the sound of birds and wind. If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is what you are looking for!
Very quiet place to spend the night. Easy access with a large motorhome. It is in the middle of cultivated fields, near a river. From that point onward, a sign indicates the beginning of a protected area.
The road is passable, but we had trouble getting the motorhome up one ramp. When we arrived, it was full and we had to leave. There were quite a lot of mosquitoes along the way, and we arrived at night.
We stopped for dinner. Very nice, peaceful, quiet place. It is also accessible with a 7.40 m motorhome; there is room for two or three at most.
Quiet spot. You can make it down to the river to cool off, which is good because it's rather hot right now! Be aware there is no shade. Carabinieri came by. Spoke to them and they did not have a problem with us parking here.
Perfect for one or several nights in the rice fields. Clean and quiet place. Easy access suitable for any vehicle. Water point not far away in the town.
Great spot! Just be careful of mosquitoes, because there are a lot of them in the evening.
We love this place!! you can actually also easily access the river, 4-5 campers can easily fit if everyone‘s cool with close parking. We are three vans here today and there’s plenty of space. Some local bird watchers came by, they were friendly and open.
Amazing place. Early May there are no mosquitos, only ibis in the morning =) Please, keep it clean (as we found it).
Beautiful place; unfortunately, some people recently left toilet paper, rubbish, etc. I picked everything up.
Great spot, with a very beautiful view over the fields and lake, even though it is dry in winter. Easy access, although the track is gravel; we had no problem getting through with an 8 m motorhome from the 1980s, so even larger motorhomes should have no trouble. Parked up high, so there is no risk of the road flooding.
Beautiful motorhome pitch for passing through, right by the river. The police came by in the evening, were very friendly, and tolerated us spending the night there. Take your rubbish with you so the place stays as beautiful as it is; there are no bins.
A great place. No passing cars; the road is gravel, so you have to drive slowly, but it is perfectly manageable. We were with another very friendly French van. Easy access from the cemetery. We slept there in a rooftop tent; it is flat.
The perfect place to say goodbye to the mountains on our way to Genoa! Lovely river a few minutes walk away for swim, very quiet, good 4G, amazing bird life. Note no tap water and some mosquitoes.
