122B Carretera General Longara, 33750, El Franco
Been here?
This free parking area beside Cambaredo dog beach has cliff views, a large green space and room for only a few camper vans. The beach is about 10 minutes downhill and allows dogs. Picnic tables and a waste bin are available, but there is no water fountain or other service. Recent conditions reported an overflowing bin and limited camper space, partly occupied by cars.

I’m sorry to disagree with the previous comments: the natural setting is undoubtedly very beautiful, but the parking area is disappointing. Today it was dirty, the bin was overflowing with rubbish, and dirty tissues were scattered around. The space for motorhomes is small, and today it was also occupied by a couple of cars. Watch out for the protruding branch when maneuvering. We left.
A beautiful place to spend a night, especially if you have a dog. Huge green area with a stone beach suitable for dogs, a bin, and picnic tables. It lacks a water fountain.
I spent an afternoon and a night there and it was great. Very peaceful place with a rubbish bin. There was only one motorhome. Highly recommended.
Peaceful parking area, beach nearby, although not suitable for swimming. Waste can be disposed of; otherwise there are no services. Supermarket about 10 minutes on foot.
Good parking area, excellent ocean view, quiet and peaceful at night. The beach is less than 10 minutes’ walk away downhill. Waste bin available on site.
We spent two perfect nights. The village is a little remote, 15 minutes on foot, but it is worth it for the peace and surroundings. On both days there were other motorhomes and campers, but it never became crowded, so it was perfect. There is a bin right beside the site, so bring toilet paper; there is no need for everyone to see where you have pooped…
Very peaceful place. We were completely alone; it has a rubbish bin, and there is a very beautiful landscape when the clouds allow it. It is close to the village, where you can find everything: supermarket, bar, and so on. A perfect place to go with dogs.
Excellent authorized motorhome area, with six shaded spaces in the afternoon. Park with tables overlooking the sea, a descent to the beach where dogs are also allowed, and a walking path. Surrounded by nature. Very quiet at night. It is difficult to find another area like this in Asturias.
Incredibly peaceful place. A few walkers in the evening, otherwise only birds and a beautiful view over the cliffs. Pitch-dark and silent at night.
Beautiful and peaceful overnight spot, highly recommended.
Very good for one night, very quiet, with very little traffic on the road beside it. The beach below is truly beautiful! I recommend it.
A mini parking area, paved at least, with a very pleasant walk to the pebble beach for dogs. There are several viewpoints, but nothing particularly significant. There is a rubbish bin, which is appreciated. It is best to park diagonally, allowing six vehicles instead of four and making entry and exit easier. Overnighting is in dim light and silence.
Great place and a wonderful view in the morning just a few meters away. It was clean, everything was fine for self-sufficient campers. Larger campers and motorhomes are also possible. We felt safe.
Yes, dogs are allowed, but there are large, ankle-breaking pebbles on the beach. For me and my dog, it wasn't worth the trek; carry on to the next stop.
A beautiful place, worth staying here for one night. No services, but breathtaking views from the cliffs. Safe for children, a 10-minute walk to the beach, with a wide path and stairs down. There are round stones, no sand. We were alone, though you do need to watch out for dog mess. Children have plenty of room to play, and everything smells of peppermint because the meadow is full of it. Thank you.
Great spot… level, quiet, has shade and campers can stay for 48h. Finding a legal parking spot and a dog-friendly beach in the middle of summer is challenging so this spot ticks all the boxes. Contrary to previous grumpy comments, there is no smell of dog and the beach is wonderful.
Dogs don't pay taxes; they are eating, pooping, barking machines. Leave them at home—they smell of dog.
Highly recommended, quiet and secluded.
The site is beautiful, with access to the beach. We had a quiet and very pleasant night.
Very nice parking area. We are staying here alone. Direct access to hiking trails and a very nice picnic area. I almost forgot. The small waterfall is beautiful! (A stream flowing into the sea) Thanks for the tip!!!
Ideal parking for a short hike to the beach below these cliffs.
A perfect place for self-sufficient nature lovers, with very beautiful surroundings.
Small, cozy place with a very beautiful view of the rocks and cliffs.
We spent a pleasant night. It is forbidden to take out tables and chairs, but there are camping tables in the small park next to the parking area.
Magnificent view, very quiet, and level ground. We spent the night alone in complete peace. There is a rubbish bin; please leave the place clean!
