4 Alnesvegen, 6055, Godøya
Been here?
This spacious parking area just after the tunnel permits overnight stays and offers views of Alnes village, the lighthouse, mountains and sea. It is quiet at night, though traffic uses the adjacent tunnel and its sound is amplified, while daytime activity can increase. There are no services apart from a rubbish bin, but coastal walks and the lighthouse are nearby.

Quiet place despite the road passing by. Plenty of opportunity for a superb walk along the coast. Bin available.Translating
Large parking area just after the tunnel. Lots of space and a beautiful view of the lighthouse. Some traffic at night, and the sound is amplified by the tunnel.Translating
Wonderful to come to Alnes despite the 3 undersea tunnels (not pleasant), to do the lovely Stonerheita hike. The parking area at the tunnel exit is very pleasant, with a view of the magnificent village and lighthouse as well as the sea.Translating
Great parking area with views of the mountains, water and lighthouse. I would not come here just to sleep, as the journey was quite long, through several tunnels with considerable inclines. The last tunnel is single-lane with passing bays. It was still worth it; we did a great hike up the mountain with fantastic views. Highly recommended.Translating
Cozy place directly after the tunnel. Worth driving to the island if you want to visit Ålesund without sleeping there. Quiet at night. Great sunset by the lighthouse. A sauna that can be reserved is within walking distance, as are great hikes on the island.Translating
Many motorhomes and vans overnight; the place was quite full. At the end of the single-lane tunnel. Garbage bin, otherwise no services. Quiet at night. Busy until evening because of the many hikers. You can hear the sound of the sea. Beautiful sunset over Alnes.Translating
Outside the hunting season we were only a few motorhomes in this place and we had a very pleasant stay, although it is close to a road there wasn't a lot of traffic and it was quiet, and we felt very safe. We enjoyed a lot the view of the sea and from there we walked to the lighthouse, another path leads to Leitebakk directly from the parking lot. It wasn't very flat but it was free of charge.
Very nice spot! Beautiful sunset.
It is just a parking lot. We stayed here for one night with 7 others and a few people who parked to hike up the mountain. Quite far from anywhere and directly next to a single-lane tunnel, which is the only way to reach it, but still quiet, especially at night. Great view of the sea. No services at all; a bin is present, but locked?? Why? We stayed here with a roof tent.Translating
Thanks to the community for allowing motorhomes to park here overnight! There’s a lovely view over the village, lighthouse and sea. The adjacent road is empty at night, but picks up during the day. A little exposed in the wind. Nice walk along the cycle path.
Beautiful and peaceful place. Starting point for walks. Recommended!Translating
Very well-located pitch! We did not want to stay in Ålesund, but wanted to be close. We had a great view of the water, saw a beautiful sunset and the northern lights one night. We hiked from there to Storhornet and walked to the lighthouse. About a 10-minute walk from the parking lot there is a waterside sauna that can be rented for 2 hours, privately or shared.Translating
Perfect spot for one or two nights. The hike starts directly behind the parking lot and offers an incredible 360° view, including Ålesund.Translating
Truly a beautiful location with views of the open sea, the village and the impressive lighthouse. Excellent for spending the night.Translating
