Campingplatz Am großen Teich

It was our first time there, but not our last. Nice operators, clean toilets and showers. Lovely shady spaces as well.

We spent 5 days here and were warmly welcomed and looked after. Our pitch was very large and we, with our dog, felt very comfortable. Everything is very well maintained and clean. Definitely always pack earplugs: the frogs from the large pond (which unfortunately cannot be swum in—please do not let dogs in either) are very enthusiastic. Valuable information is available on site.

Very friendly welcome in the evening. Despite arriving after 9 p.m., they waited for us and we found a nice place on the meadow. The sanitary facilities are in top condition. A refrigerator was also available for general use. The goat's milk ice cream is highly recommended. On Sunday afternoon there was freshly baked cake. The pool provides a way to cool off in hot weather.

A lovingly run site. Everything is available. Very clean sanitary facilities and a pool for cooling off. Bread-roll service, ice cream, and much more. Sunny and shady pitches are available. Gladly again. All the best to you both.

A beautiful small campsite with very nice operators. We stayed here for one night as a stopover. Very clean sanitary facilities. A pool provides cooling off. Unfortunately, the adjacent lake is no longer suitable for swimming. We would be happy to return.

We stayed there for one night with a car and rooftop tent. It was no problem getting a pitch at reception. Clean sanitary facilities, playground, pool, etc.—everything is available, as is access to the adjacent outdoor swimming area. Torgau town is quickly reached by bicycle. The campsite is easily accessible from the Elbe Cycle Route. You should pay attention to the stated rules on site.

A beautiful, family-run, and very dog-friendly campsite! It is directly on the large pond, and Torgau can be reached by bicycle in just a few minutes. The owners are extremely friendly and helpful. A Kaufland supermarket is 2 minutes away by bicycle, where you can get everything. The sanitary facilities are very clean. We stayed for 5 days and recovered well! We would love to come back.

We enjoyed 4 nights at this campsite and can only join the praise. We had a wonderful shady pitch, so we were able to do without using the air conditioning. This place left nothing to be desired. However, the price level is one we very rarely or never pay.

Very nice place surrounded by greenery and still close to the city center and the Elbe Cycle Route. The operators are so nice and helpful; you feel comfortable and welcome. Everything is clean and well maintained and is constantly being improved. We would love to come back.

The most beautiful campsite with the most loving care imaginable! We were here for the third time and will return! Uncomplicated, super friendly and helpful, dog-friendly, clean sanitary facilities, excellent services and disposal facilities, and beautiful Torgau, the Elbe, cycle paths... you can truly unwind here.

We were welcomed by very nice and helpful tenants. The site is great and the sanitary facilities are excellent. On Saturday there was homemade cake—very delicious. We enjoyed the 4 days and think Torgau is worth a trip.

Here again at this beautiful place, as many other campers have already written. The service here is hard to beat: fresh bread rolls delivered directly to the motorhome every day, and the ordered pizza is also brought to the motorhome by the operator. Many thanks to the Zeisig family for this superb service. We will of course return.

This is how camping should be! Extremely nice and helpful operators! You feel very welcome and are happy to be there. The site is generally very well maintained—the floor in the toilet is clean enough to eat off. Showers at €1 for 4 minutes are somewhat impractical, as you have to leave the cubicle to insert more coins. But we liked it very much and would definitely return!

A quiet, family-friendly site. Friendly, cool operator. Clean sanitary facilities, clean pool, and well-maintained grounds, including a playground for the kids. Starting point for many bike tours, including along the Elbe (the ferry at Belgern is an experience), and of course Torgau itself.

The operators are absolutely great. It is very quiet. Everything you need is available. Even a pool where campers actively interact with one another. All in all, a real highlight. One star deducted because the very clean sanitary facilities lack a little privacy.

1. We will return. 2. A campsite needs certain standards, and all are met here. 3. The pool encourages interaction with other campers and was a pleasant surprise for us. 4. A place to feel comfortable. 5. The beach bar next door provides a beach-like atmosphere. 6. Ten minutes to the Mohrrübe restaurant, with reasonable prices and good food. 7. The only drawback: cash payment preferred.
