This is a roadside stopping place and trailhead with no amenities. Recent information describes it as rocky and on a steep slope. The original description says it can be used for a meal stop or overnight stay.

The spot is close to the road, but given how few cars pass, it is not a problem. The spot really saved us; we had a Kangoo and were able to stay level without any problem. The only issue is the number of people at the end of the day. There is plenty of room for a small motorhome. It is only 13 minutes from central Oslo by car.
The place is completely useless. It is on a rock and on a steep slope.
We stopped 200 meters farther down on the roadside with a view of the lake; it was superb. Quiet night with very little passing traffic.
