Absolutely the best place on the Baltic Sea. Great value for money. We are very satisfied and come here several times a year. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a quiet place.
Very well-maintained campsite with spacious pitches and a pleasant atmosphere. The sanitary facilities were always clean, and hot showers are included in the price. The operators are friendly and uncomplicated. Good value for money. It is only a short walk to the beach, ideal for a relaxing holiday.
Arrived spontaneously. Friendly reception. Level, grassy, divided pitches. Good shopping facilities nearby, 800 metres toward the village. Charming harbour. About 10 minutes to the beach. The best chip shop in the Western Hemisphere is right on site (Pommes King)! Several sanitary buildings with sufficient toilets, showers, washing-up areas, washing machines, and dryers, though they have the charm of a gym changing room. Cleaned several times a day, so they are clean.
We spent a wonderful week here in the “little woodland.” Very large, well-maintained site. Just a few metres from the Baltic Sea and shopping. The Wi-Fi coverage could still be improved. Very nice here.
We used the campsite for just one night while passing through. Everything is perfect here. Bakery with fresh rolls on site.
Good campsite and inexpensive for the area with an ACSI card. It has everything. Recommended.
We spent a week at the campsite from April 16 and found few campers, so only one sanitary facility was open. It was modern and always clean. The €23 ACSI pitches are marked yellow on the site plan, measure 70 square metres, and are far from the sanitary facilities, on the roadside or behind reception. We stayed on a green pitch costing €25; blue pitches cost €27.
Not so crowded at this time of year! Pitches are large enough! Sanitary facilities clean and good! The beach is about 700 metres away. Good starting point for hiking and cycling!
Uncomplicated, spacious, refined, park-like grounds between the Baltic Sea and the lagoon, with long country walks and a quiet village.
Great campsite with beautiful, large pitches. Everything is very well maintained. The sanitary buildings were always clean, the showers were pleasantly hot and free. The operators were nice and flexible. The price-performance ratio is definitely good. The beach was not far away and there were several beautiful sections for dogs. Great starting point for cycling. Restaurants are very close.
Opinions are divided here: the sanitary facilities are perfectly fine, the location is wonderful, and the price is okay. However, it is really crowded—not because of the number of people, but because the site is poorly planned. We were on the tent field with a panel van and it was really borderline. Because of the seasonal campers and the confusing layout, it was very difficult to find a place, and there is no such thing as privacy. We would not come back.
We got a pitch for our camper at short notice, were given a very warm welcome, and still had a very good choice during the season. We were allowed to walk around the site beforehand, look at the available pitches, and then decide exactly where we wanted to stand. Toilets and showers are clean and nothing is lacking. We would gladly come again!
Despite booking at short notice, we could choose between several pitches and even extend our stay. It is true that the showers could be improved, but it is camping. Pommes King on site is highly recommended; the operators are very positive people, and there is various fast food, strawberry punch, and more.
Good facilities for vacationing, all services work, customer service is good, a very peaceful place, I recommend.
Friendly welcome at reception. Although we had not reserved, we still had several pitches to choose from. Sanitary facilities clean and technically in good condition. The entire site is very well maintained, with a playground and bread-roll service. Discount during the shoulder season—perfect for us, and we were able to relax well.
The best thing first: the toilets are very clean and modern (2 stars). Reception was overwhelmed and we were not allowed to choose a pitch, although plenty were available (no star). The midday quiet period is not observed; vehicles come and go and people set up and pack up (no star). The grass is mowed on Sundays (no star). Do not park behind reception if you want peace (no star). There is a lack of innovation here.
We spent four nights here. Dierhagen-Strand and Dierhagen-Dorf are within walking distance, though of course faster by bicycle. There could be more restaurants. There are many seasonal campers on site, but that did not bother us. The sanitary facilities were always clean and the women at reception were always helpful.
Very nice site, clean sanitary facilities, friendly and helpful staff, well-maintained grounds, and beautiful cycle paths.
The site was almost fully booked, but thanks to free pitch selection we got a sunny spot on the tent field. Sanitary facilities are fine, but the showers only produce a fine mist. The site is wonderfully quiet and friendly. Many seasonal campers, but genuinely nice ones. Supplies on site are borderline: only a bakery, and only at certain times. Supermarkets and restaurants are easily reachable by bicycle.
Nice site, clean sanitary facilities, the shower heads could use replacing, shopping facilities nearby, and great cycling paths. I can only recommend it.
Hi, nice site, but the sanitary facilities are getting old. In the women's area there is a hand shower in the children's shower. Why can't the showers be equipped with hand showers? The prices should allow it. It is very quiet, but there is also nothing going on. Every day at 11 a.m. sharp, the grass is mowed on pitches that have become vacant.
Quiet campsite; even in high season we got a nice pitch. A short walk to the beach and harbour. Wi-Fi only worked occasionally. Bread rolls are also available there.
A great campsite; even extending our stay was no problem, although it involved a small pitch change due to the season. Very friendly and helpful staff, and clean, good sanitary facilities. We would gladly return.
Perfect campsite! Nice welcome, very clean. We stayed for three nights and will definitely come back! Nice playground for the children.
