Abbey parking, narrow entrance

We regularly come to this place. Never disappointed: grassy and more or less flat. Very beautiful site with the abbey ruins. Today was sunny and a little windy, and it was still very quiet.

It started off very peaceful and quiet until the camper next to us started up a petrol generator. Totally selfish and disrespectful of everyone. We moved on

Beautiful setting with the church and abbey ruins. More or less flat grassy ground. Very quiet. We were alone in the world today. I recommend it.

Small spot in the Ardèche, truly peaceful and ideal for a quiet night.

This is a place we particularly love. The monastery and its artwork, visible from the road, create an unforgettable atmosphere. The church’s stained-glass windows are magnificent. We slept right next to the church, which was extremely quiet at the end of June. Free guided tours on Thursdays and Fridays at 11 a.m. during the season.

Quiet place where we spent the night on February 19, 2024. Very peaceful; the clock stops at 10:30 p.m. and wakes you at 7 a.m., which is a little early. Interesting ruins.

We spent two nights in “the abbey gardens.” The place is beautiful and extremely peaceful. There is a large grassy parking area, but we were the only ones ☺️. The river is next to it, and our dog and we were delighted. Recommended for anyone seeking peace away from everything.

As motorhome travelers, we had an excellent stay at Fanny’s farm. She is a dynamic and passionate person who shared her work with us. We were able to watch the goats being milked. The goat cheeses and curds she makes are excellent. For nature lovers seeking peace among the animals, we highly recommend it. (P and S from Forcalquier.)
