Harbour parking, calm nights

Great little free spot directly at the harbor. Unfortunately, it was already full when we arrived later in the evening; otherwise we would have happily stayed.

We thought it was a top spot. There are 3 or 4 places for campers, but the site is much larger. You are right by the water and can easily walk or cycle into town. Nice skate park nearby. Overnight stays are also allowed.

A very beautiful place. Please respect that only 3–4 motorhomes, depending on their width, are welcome. Park as described in the text. You need a lot of luck to get a space. If you drive here, look for parking alternatives beforehand. If the place is full, go elsewhere!!

Many more spaces than we expected, along a pedestrian promenade. Super-quiet night.

Free overnight stay at the harbor on gravel. Quiet night with a good view. A rubbish bin at the site.

Great place facing the fjord. The town center is not far away on foot. You can take a walk along the shore.

We spent a calm night here with one other camper next to us. Great view on the water. Walked to city center in 10minutes, lots of shops and restaurants there. Police came regularly to check if everything is alright. It’s a great place, we will come back. :)

Look forward, not back. Two steps toward the water reveal a fantastic view of the fjord. What really surprised us on the right was the skyline of the modern city against the beautiful sunset and in the twilight. We would gladly return anytime, and many thanks to the municipality for this place.

We initially stood alone, later there were three of us. Close to the water with a view of the harbor. Beautiful walking path directly along the fjord into town. No waste disposal, electricity or rubbish bins, but quiet and we slept well. Free for 24 hours.
