Small car park, keep quiet

This small car park serves the Duddon Furnace site and is usually gated, but the gate can be opened to enter. It is probably best suited to smaller vans, with residences nearby, so overnight visitors should remain quiet. The furnace ruins are just up a path, and a footpath follows a stream bed to the top of the fell.
