Excellent stopover! Thanks to the owners for sharing their private land with motorhome travellers for only €5. While his parents are working, young Thomas looks after the site and does his best to make everything pleasant. A fine example of family commitment. Let us respect the place and those who provide this service. We will gladly return!Translating
A very quiet place that could be very pleasant if it were maintained (tall grass); no rubbish bin. Everything seems abandoned. It is not worth €5 just for parking.Translating
I do not understand some of the reviews. This land is not abandoned; it is private property, not a car park. The tractor is being repaired, so maintenance is delayed. The owners, including young 13-year-old Thomas, are doing their best. The worst part? Some motorhomes drive in as if the place were completely open and leave without paying while the owners are working. The €5 is simply a matter of respect. Mosquitoes depend on the weather.Translating
The toilets have been out of order for years. After dinner accompanied by flies, we ended the evening with mosquitoes.... After an hour of battling them, we gave up and left at 11 p.m. to find somewhere quiet 20 minutes away. Honestly, I do not recommend it.Translating
This place could be perfect without the mosquitoes, indeed. Even with mosquito screens all day and night, those clever little pests manage to sneak in through the slightest opening and ruin your night. Fortunately, being very close to the Passage du Gois softened these inconveniences. Cycling across the Passage du Gois is an experience worth having.Translating
Thanks to the owners. A very quiet place, waking up to birdsong. I recommend it.Translating
Less than 1 km from the Passage du Gois. No services (no more dry toilet or rubbish bin), but a very calm and peaceful place. Many thanks to the owners for providing this stopping area.Translating
Great. Exactly our kind of place—a simple meadow, quiet, natural and spacious. We had an excellent night, were able to cycle easily from here to the island on a 35 km round trip, and would happily stay a second night. Many thanks to the owners for kindly making this available to campers.Translating
Open site in a field Close to the Passage du Gois Very quiet... the only thing missing is a rubbish bin.Translating
Be careful: €7.50 if you have a trailer...Translating
Quiet place, but no dry toilet as indicated on the site? There is a small cabin, but it is locked.Translating
The owners are exceptionally closing the site from 23 to 31 August. They will be happy to welcome you again from 1 September.Translating
A large meadow as a pitch, without services. Right by the Passage du Gois (under 1,000 m), where there are also public toilets. We had dinner in a restaurant with a great sunset, spent a quiet night, and the next day we were able to drive across the passage (because it was Sunday, in a long procession of cars).Translating
Very large pitch, pleasant and very quiet night, apart from lots of mosquitoes. No facilities. Not far from the Passage du Gois and not far from shops, which can be reached by bicycle.Translating
We are here now: no services, but very quiet. The Passage du Gois is nearby. Nice for spending the night. Thanks to the owners.Translating
Thank you, a peaceful place. No tarmac, just the sound of the wind in the trees. Perfect for us. Avoid this place if you do not like peace and quiet.Translating
Very pleasant place. We spent one night here after going to the waterfront, which was very windy. We preferred to move 5 km away; it is a real haven of peace surrounded by hedges, with relatively flat grassy ground. Very pleasant for spending the night. Many thanks to the owners for sharing this place. I highly recommend it.Translating
€5.... perfect for the night. Flat square field no facilities not even a rubbish bin. A safe place to pitch up rather than the main road bend free space. Short cycle to the passage de Gois for eats, though the café closes around 6 the restaurant is open later. Quiet night and not bothered by mosquitoes on our visit in July. A rubbish bin would be useful.
Top-notch motorhome pitch. We especially appreciated the shade. We will postpone driving across the Passage du Gois until later.Translating
Thank you very much for this lovely place. We had the meadow all to ourselves. We put the money in the letterbox because nobody was home—very easy.Translating
Thank you for making this space available. We had our bicycles to cross the passage, and it was really great! There are indeed mosquitoes, but with foresight and mosquito repellent, you soon forget them.Translating
Very quiet, but the mosquitoes are extremely numerous! €5 just to park, otherwise there is nothing.
Ideal location before crossing the Gois, friendly welcome, €5 per night. Recommended.
