19D Avenida Castillo, 47400, Medina del Campo
Been here?
A parking area beside the cemetery and near the Castillo de la Mota, with the town centre within walking distance. It includes hard standing and a larger sandy area, with some flat places but also uneven ground. The area is generally peaceful, though nearby trains can sound early in the morning.

Quiet parking at the cemetery entrance. Close to the city center. We did not stay overnight. Thank you.
This exact spot is the hard standing opposite the cemetery gates. But we stayed on the large sandy area right next to it (a few flat spots). The police came by a couple of times but didn't trouble us. It was very peaceful - not even any train noise!
As shown on the map, it is a parking lot and fulfills its purpose perfectly. At the foot of La Mota Castle and in front of the cemetery. The center is a 20-minute walk away. We slept there without any problem.
Place on the outskirts of the town, very quiet for spending the night. No services. The ground is sandy and some areas are uneven. There is also a paved area.
Very quiet for spending the night.
We spent the night there alongside a couple of other vans. Quiet place with no noise, except for an occasional train horn around 6 in the morning; the railway is nearby. The police pass by from time to time to make sure everything is in order. Generally recommended for spending the night there.
Quiet place to sleep on the outskirts of town, a 7-minute walk from the center, next to the cemetery. Fairly level site. The problem is the freight trains; when we were there, they passed until 1 a.m. as far as we could tell, blowing their horns, and they can be heard quite clearly. We also encountered a cat fight, but I do not think the cats are always fighting.
We slept in our converted Duster camper during the week and it was very quiet. There is one area with streetlights and another darker one. The town is a 5-minute walk away, and the castle is beautiful.
Had a great overnight stay. Yes, it is somewhat remote, but security patrols pass by occasionally. Nothing wrong with it. The center is easy to reach on foot. The castle is definitely worth visiting.
Very quiet and secluded area, no noise at night. We spent a very peaceful night and visited the castle in the morning without moving the motorhome.
We spent a very quiet and secluded night. Ideal for sleeping; we were alone. The center is reached by going under the railway tracks, and the castle is barely two minutes away.
We slept very well, peacefully and without noise. There were three motorhomes and plenty of space, so we felt safer than being alone in any parking lot. The castle is very beautiful to visit, and we also ate very well in the town square.
Ideal place to avoid. I cannot understand how, in 2024, there are no overnight facilities anywhere in this area. There is no shade anywhere, in any parking lot. This country is a disgrace.
Place next to the cemetery, too secluded. I do not recommend it.
We slept without any problems or noise. The castle opens at 11.
Open area next to the cemetery and La Mota Castle; we slept peacefully and without noise near the city.
We slept without any problems, but it is an empty lot by a cemetery next to the castle. It is a shame that this beautiful town does not provide a proper area. Thank you.
